Christmas Countdown - 2015

Good evening, friends.
Not much to report on my FIL, Ken, unfortunately.
They got back some preliminaries, just enough to scare us. Nothing concrete yet.
They re-ran the EEG, and CT. And their results are conflicting. I'm guessing different people are reading them, too. My SIL and Adrian have seen 5 different neurologists.
So frustrating.
Thanks again for all of your prayers & kind words. I will keep you posted.

Harlowe did okay, I think!
Melissa called to ask about a note I had written her about her cut. She said Har was a bit nervous but still being sweet and doing fine.
She looks great & seems normal. She was happy to see me, excited, like she typically is when I get home from work.
Last time, it was like she was scared & in pain, which she was
So I'm happy! Hope it continues for next time

I was reading the Hagerstown Farmers Almanac last night and there are a few things that I read that I have to share. I saw the snow word for the first time this season, listed for the Rocky Mountains and Northern Plains in the month of October. Also, we have lost about 2 hours of daylight since June 22nd and we will loose another hour, just this month alone.
And last, according to the almanac, it is predicting a White Christmas! Fingers crossed for that one....

I remember the Farmers Almanac when I was very little. Have they got England in there? What kind of winter are we going to have lol?

I hope everyone enjoyed their Labor Day weekend!

What a nice Labor Day weekend we had! Saturday we ran and played all day and Sunday I worked. Labor Day we were closed but hubby (Snow-in-Texas) and I went in to feed the animals and went running around for a little bit afterward. We came home to fire up the grill to cook out, what were we thinking? It was 101 outside and the heat off the grill wasn't fun but we did cook up some good food! We headed to Starbucks for some frappes afterward. I had heard on the news that they were serving Pumpkin Spice Lattes if you went online for a special code and I have been anxiously awaiting that but it was just too darn hot for it! Went for my usual Java Chip Frappe.

I am likely to melt in that kind of heat!!!!! I 've never experienced it !!!

It was a scorcher here today, the thermometer in the car said 98*f at one point.
I did go see Vacation today, I enjoyed it, not as good as the original, or Christmas Vacation, but a fun film.
I am heading to sleep, another dayoff awaits.

Merry Morning! Happy Pines Day!!

It's been a while since I have made it to the Pines! I look forward to later. What's in store for tonight?

Expecting another repair guy today to give me a second quote for the heating repair. Fingers crossed his will be more reasonable. Other than that working home today and enjoying time with Isaac. Nervous about leaving tomorrow at Nursery school. How did he get to be so big already

She had an infection for a month or so, because she was likely cut while being groomed, and we were never told.
Yesterday was her first time being groomed (at a new place!) and we were all nervous for her. But thankfully, it went well.

Good morning...
Had a long night. Isak woke up at 2:30 AM with fever and croup
I have experience with croup so I got him to bread normal pretty fast
He is feeling better, but havent slept since he woke up!!
And that's over 9 hours since! Now he is sitting on the sofa watching TV
(still a bit warm, but much better ♥)

I'm going to continue watching a Christmas movie on my computer
and drink some more coffe!!

Hope everyone is doing fine over here?
I miss the time I was updated on everyones life
And I miss you guys

Oh goodness, how awful. You must have been worried and annoyed at not being told!! Good idea to change places. Glad to hear she has settled in there and doing better.

We were! It was scary, and in a hidden area, covered by fur. So it took a bit for us to realize. We couldn't understand her upsetting behavior, and felt awful later.
The worst part is that it was a groomer at the vet, grrr.
