It was cooler here last night (9 c/48F) and I didn't have to turn the fan on once. This morning, after my husband was up and making coffee, I heard a noise in our bedroom. I felt eyes on me. I looked and there was O'Malley cat staring at me from the small chest next to my husband's side of the bed. Being 10.5 years and a bit heavy (26 lbs), he found a new way to get onto our bed instead of leaping from the floor. He's still there napping as I type this note. Won't be long now before the smell of chimney smoke fills the air.

Today is the first day for our bowling year. However, we have a wedding this afternoon, so we will be prebowling this morning. HaHa, I belonged to a Bowling League when I was 11 years old. I was so awful, not only did the ball wind up in the gutter, it wound up in the gutter of the next lane - who knew bowling balls could hop like that? I think any strikes or spares I managed were quite by accident. I only lasted 3 sessions before I dropped out since the rest of the team was serious and I never practiced my 10-pin between competitions.

I remember a video game I played "Santa/Elf Bowling", I did far better on that game than in real life at the lanes. Have fun!

So far, so good. Have to run a few errands today and visit my mom today or tomorrow, but otherwise no special plans except to unwind my mind.
