Christmas Countdown - 2015

Happy Wednesday/Hump Day/Pines Day/MILESTONE DAY, my Christmas friends!

I spent most of the day yesterday in a man-lift, repairing and replacing overhead cameras around the plant. While I'm confident driving unusual equipment like that, there is a short learning curve. I only almost-wrecked once. I thought that was pretty good!

I have to go back up again today, then I should be back to business as usual.

Good morning everyone!
Happy Milestone Day!
I put some more Fall decorations out last night. The cats were so excited. Rosie was especially excited, she wasn't with us last year during the holidays so it was so cute to see her reaction. I'm almost finished, I just have to replace a couple of things that haven't held up too well over the years. I'm going to take a ride to Michael's later this morning. I also need to run to the pet store while I'm out. Other than that I'll be working on my daily chores. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

The veterinarian bills are so expensive, I would have many more animals if it wasn't so costly.

It is a big decision! Especially since we don't know how expensive Miss Gracie is going to get to be yet! It would be awesome if she would just get all better & she can go on normal dog food & not so many medications...but we'll do what we have to do!! The little stinker!

I know - part of me thinks it would be great to have just one more!! LOL! (I think Gracie would like a friend!) But then I think of loading up 2 dogs every weekend to head to the lake. We would have to buy another collar for the wireless fence. There would be MORE dog food on top of the $66 bag for Gracie that lasts 3 weeks....And then trying to keep Gracie from eating "normal" dog food... And then there's the $2000 vet bill I just paid on Gracie.... AHHHHHH!!!! LOL!

I'm right there with you. Lulu's special dog food costs me $80, and it lasts 3 of 4 weeks, PLUS the $1500 vet bill. Ugh! Whatcha gonna do, though?

Yup all is good here Holiday.....Had fun baking with the girls today...Lots of mess to tidy up but thats what kids do lol

We're going to keep buying expensive food & paying vet bills, & spending $75 a month on meds - That's what we're going to do! Good thing they are so worth it - expensive little buggers!!!

All this talk of animals - my friend in Pittsburgh who also has a Wheaten Terrier just texted me that she is at the vet with her right now - she's lethargic, limping & hunched over. Poor thing!! Praying she's going to be ok!

Thanks! She's a sweet little pooch too!!! They are testing her for re-occurring Lymes disease & if that isn't it, they will have to go further. They are on their way home with antibiotics & Puppy Percocet!
