Boy, am I ever enjoying the time off! Next week will be a 3-day workweek! (Well, I'm also having some oral surgery, but I don't care. I get to spend time at home!) We also have a short trip to Vermont coming up in October. The combination of leisure time and anticipation is exhilarating!

I cherish having my family in town, we had a blast playing Taboo last night. Lots of laughs. The orchard and winery are the plan for today, the weather is going to be beautiful.

Good morning everyone, Happy Saturday!
I'm heading out in a little bit to get my food shopping over with. My husband is only working for a few hours today so we plan on going to the garden center later this afternoon to buy some mums. We'll probably pick up some pumpkins too and decorate the front of the house. Date night tonight so we have to decide where we want to go for dinner.
That's about it for me. Hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!!!

Morning, friends! Hope y'all are doing well! It is a nice, cool fall morning here, also. It's in the 50's, but it is going to warm up to the 80's later today.

Doc, Bambina, and I are going to Disney Frozen on Ice today...should be a fun time! We can't wait. It starts in a few hours, so I better start getting ready. See everyone later!

Sounds like fun! I think I am the only person on the planet who has not seen "Frozen" yet. In a few years I will be drowning in Disney movies! I hope you have a great time!

The oral surgery will be fine, just an implant to replace a back tooth that had to come out earlier this year (the result of a years-ago root canal that failed). The dentist said the implant would be simpler than the extraction, and that went beautifully.

The dairy that made vanilla eggnog, my favorite, stopped making it last year. So I bought a stick blender and make my own, one fresh serving at a time! Funny, I was looking for it at the supermarket this week. I forgot they stopped making it. But that just means I don't have to wait. I can have eggnog whenever I decide the time is right! Maybe today!

I always make my own, nothing beats the taste.
