Christmas Countdown - 2015

Good evening Christmas friends

hi y´all...all cool over here....been at church today with Jones and Kandice....at the dedication of the two daughter´s of our friends........eventho I was there....I still don´t know what a dedication is....it was no babtizing....they have been babtized already....lol.....anyway....church was quite interessting...much different from regular church in Germany.....most of the people there were Nigerians, living over here....so there was a lot of singing and dancing and shouting.....I loved it....but it was very, very long!!!!!

We´ve been home since 4 pm and have been chilling mostly since then....doing some laundry and the dishes....but that was pretty much it.

a dedication goes back to old testament when a baby who was 8 days old was taken to the temple and presented to the Lord. The parents promise to raise the child in the faith and one day to come to know the Lord and His word for themselves. This practice of dedicating children to the Lord continues today.
 
My wife and I bought a new Christmas tree today for our newly renovated livingroom. It will go up November 9th after the baby shower. We will decorate my den on November 1st.

We were the first people to buy a tree from our local Lowes. They were very excited about this, but not to excited to give us a discount. :)
