Christmas Countdown - 2015

Happy Monday everyone. Can't believe this week September will turn to October...the month of Halloween. One of my favorites and the last month before we head towards the Christmas season. Unbelievable.
The weather has definitely turned here in the northeast from a very warm September to a cooler feel in the last week or so. It feels more normal now. Unfortunately we have a drought but we are supposed to get some rain today. Let's hope we do even though a dreary Monday doesn't sound too appealing.
Hope everyone has a great day. All the best stuff (the holiday season) of the year is still ahead of us yet it's not far from us any longer. That should make you smile, thinking about that.

Good morning! well, today is the day. My grandfather is moving in with us today. I'll be heading down there soon to get the remaining things packed up, freezers and refrig un-packed before the moving van shows up there today at 9:30ish. I'm hoping that things go well, but no guarantee, fingers crossed. I'll be pretty busy today, so I don't know when I will get a chance to get back here today, maybe tonight....

Good Morning, MMC! Happy last week of September! I cannot believe at all that by the end of the work week, we'll be in October. Wow. September has absolutely flown by! I'm thrilled for October to be here...it will really start to feel like fall for me then. The weather is finally turning cooler--today's high is 80, but the rest of the extended forecast is not out of the 70s and lows even in the low 50s to upper 40s at times. Bring on the leaves changing!

We had a great weekend-my husband's birthday, and yesterday we went to see a cycling race! It was AWESOME.

This week looks pretty good at work. Feeling positive this morning! Hoping I can get the administrative work I need to get done today finished--I've tired the last two weeks but things have come up each time that I've had to take care of. It's good to feel positive on a Monday-I haven't been feeling that way at all recently! Have a GREAT day, all!

Days to the Season: 46
Days to Christmas Day: 88

And if THAT doesn't do it, THIS surely will:
We are -- believe it or not -- just NINE days away from our next Milestone......and it's a real shocker.
On October 7 (SINGLE DIGITS from today) we will reach the 90 percent mark and enter the "HOME STRETCH" to the Season.
(Now that's really incredible. Unbelievable, in fact! Dare I say scary??)


Still more rain yesterday. We are downright soggy here!
But no rest for the weary. Rain is in the forecast all the way to the weekend.
This morning has commenced at 71 degrees with the threat of rain pending any time.


Have a Marvelous Monday, Folks.
And as a Packer Backer, I'll be tuning in the game tonight!

Happy Friday Friends and Milestone Day!! Can you believe 3 months from today is Christmas!! Wow! Today is my 16 year anniversary with my hubby! We are actually going to go out to dinner next Fri night as my daughter has a soccer game tonight and my FIL's bday is today as well, he turns 70 so we are taking him out to dinner tomorrow night. Hope you all have a wonderful Friday. I have QVC on now...listening in the background as I work.View attachment 13739

Good morning MMC! Happy Monday!!! My hubby got the day off work today - lucky duck!! So far it's cloudy & dark'ish looking outside. It's not supposed to rain today but it looks like it could. We started out at 62º this morning, heading to 83º! The weather has been so amazing!!

HMG - the bruschetta chicken was delicious!!! YUM!! Everybody liked it! We had it yesterday for lunch! I sent some home with our neighbors & they said it was even better for supper! Thanks again for the recipe!!!
