Stay cozy!I'm looking forward to the weekend too. I wish the weather was going to be nicer. We'll probably need to have the heat on at the trailer all weekend!! LOL I'm having coffee with Mom/sisters/sil/nieces Saturday morning. The bicycle poker run probably isn't going to happen Saturday afternoon, so I can watch a movie...that is until the Buckeyes play at 3:30!It makes me sleepy thinking about the weather. LOL

Look what I found while I was out running a couple errands today!
I like a lot of the old black & white movies. I watch them on my break LOL. Creature From the Black Lagoon is a favorite.
But I also love new stuff, too. I watch The Conjuring every month!

I'm doing okay, very tired. I didn't sleep well last night, and tomorrow will be an extra early morning, for a meeting at the hotel site before sunrise.
I probably won't make it very long Friday night!
Tonight, we are going to our friend's house, a few doors down, for a toast around her firepit. She picked up some Harvest Patch Shandy's and we're saluting October.

Good October morning, my Christmas friends!
It's been a long morning. Nancy's mom (who spent several months in the hospital getting over a bad fall and heart trouble) fell last night about 2:30 am while trying to get to the bathroom. Bernie couldn't get her up, so he called us. She wasn't seriously hurt, but she still has major mobility issues, so she couldn't get herself up. It took some time, but we got her on her feet, and she was better then. I couldn't go back to sleep when I got home, though.
AND I'M OUT OF COFFEE AT WORK!!! AHHHH!
Other than that, everything is lovely around here.

You evening plans sound like the perfect way to welcome October. I hope to get a little down time and watch some TV or a movie. I was thinking about Fright Night (the newish one) I've seen it once before. Good luck with your meeting tomorrow. I hope it goes well. Oh goodness! I am so sorry to hear about Nancy's mum. I hope she is ok and comfortable now. Well it sounds like you had a long night and now no coffee to get you through your day! No good! Hope you can have a nice relaxing evening.

My favorite is still "The Devil Bat" ... Bela Lugosi gives out samples of a new shaving lotion that he invented that is "very soothing on the tender skin of your neck" ... he gives it to people he has a grudge against ... then trains giant vampire bats to attack people wearing that unique scent ... there's some sly humor in it.
