Sounds like a good plan for tonight!! :) Right now we have 20 mph wind, but it's so nice & warm! They were calling for rain this evening but it looks like they took that out of the forecast!
My uncle who lives next to Mom (her brother) is celebrating his 95th birthday today! The family is having an open house for anybody that wants to stop in tonight. I'm hoping to make it over there at some point.

Happy Birthday to your Uncle!
Have a nice night Holiday!

It's 20c here today and sunny, lovely weather - supposed to rain tomorrow. Somehow dad didn't get the memo so tonight there is no turkey dinner with my folks. Visited earlier with them before my dad had to head out for the last golf game of the season, but my husband got a slice of apple pie and they exchanged birthday gifts and we had a good visit. Meatloaf is on the menu for a non-traditional Thanksgiving dinner.

That's unfortunate. At least you get meatloaf, I guess? Your dad can also be thankful for his final golf game, too. I must say I am a little jealous of that slice of apple pie!

Well I feel a nice evening of rest coming. Mondays I just don't feel like doing as much when I get home as opposed to the rest of the week. Just getting through the first work day after the weekend is enough of challenge.
I second this!
Enjoy your night, Edge~

Good Evening all!

I have a confession....I just cannot do Mondays anymore, just can't, uggghhhh....I would like to boycott them from here on out! I say we do 4 tens and then have a 3 day weekend after that.
Just a suggestion, that's all.......

I got home from work and found out that they had taken my wife's grandfather to the hospital at 3 am last night because he was very sick. The doctor to my MIL that his stomach was twisted???? And that since he has dementia and other illness, he was very combative because he was confused, especially when they tried to put a feeding tube in him. They had to restrain him and both my wife and my MIL are very upset this evening. the doctor said that if it does not correct itself, they will have to operate on him to correct it and the recovery time is 6 weeks with a feeding tube in him the whole entire time. At 94 years old, my MIL said that she cannot put him (her father) thru any more suffering and would not approve the surgery. My wife agreed. I hope and pray that it corrects itself.

I'm very sorry to hear about Lisa's grandfather. That has to be so scary for him, and tough for your family.
Hugs and many prayers, friend. (((Hugs)))
