Husband is home. Chores are being done briefly before relaxing with a good book before bed! AC units are coming out RIGHT. NOW. Let's all celebrate the fact that I smelled frost in the air for the first time tonight!!:snowball:shiver:snowhappy
10 weeks, girl!!!! Time is moving so fast! Stay cozy, and enjoy your night!

:tree:

Well, sadly, last night, my wife's grandfather took a turn for the worse and today the hospital said they could do no more and sent him to a Hospice. You know what that means...They told my wife and Mil that it could be 2 days, 2 weeks or a month, they just didn't know exactly..... So, it's now the waiting process which in a lot of ways is worse than something happening suddenly...
((((HUGS)))) Praying for you

Well, it is getting a bit chilly, so I turned on the valve to the propane tank and fired up the fireplace tonight. It's the first time since last March since I had it lit and my does it feel good! And besides, it gives me so much comfort not only feeling the heat, but watching the flames flicker... It's sort of soothing! That's the plans for tonight, fireplace and a major chill out factor.....
That's what we're doing, too. 35 degrees outside right now. Low 20's overnight.
We're going to throw in a movie & eat some popcorn =]
Enjoy your fire!!

So sorry to hear that, friend.
Prayers, strength, and love on the way to you and your family. Extra prayers for comfort & peace. (((Hugs)))

It was fun, because I didn't expect it to turn into Christmas shopping! I got some new light strings, a wall decoration that lights up (for the office), a couple of "frame" ornaments (the kind you put your own picture into), a couple of stockings for gifts ... oh, I forget what else. The Home Depot clerk was chattering like a magpie about the Christmas stuff being out already and "earlier every year." I stated that that was actually a myth, that the media had been making that complaint since the early 1900s. That took a little wind out of her sails ... but she must have been vaccinated with a phonograph needle. Yatta yatta yatta!

Hahahaha!!! You crack me up. :)

I hear ya. I am not a fan of crowds in general...I just go mostly to enjoy the Christmas surroundings and then leave when I feel like it and go home to order online lol.
On my days off in the middle of the week, I usually will head out to stores to see their Christmas set ups. It is not busy and I am able to take my time.

HAPPY WEEKEND ALL!!!!!!! I'm actually OFF this ENTIRE weekend!!!!!!! IT'S THE BEST!! (can you tell I'm excited???)

Relaxing and hydrating before the big run tomorrow-3.5-4 miles for me and 12 for Husband! I got my library card today and feel like a kid at Christmas--I am listening to some awesome audiobooks and I'm REALLY excited about them! Libraries are the best!

Let's all have a productive, FUN, and relaxing fall weekend! The AC units are coming out TONIGHT-areas near us are under frost/freeze warnings for the first time tomorrow night!

Good luck tomorrow!
Hope you have a fabulous weekend!

Good morning MMC!
I am still off work because of my arm it sucks because I can't do anything no crocheting is getting done no work is getting done I just sit here watching Netflix and TV and basically doing nothing. The pain is getting less but it's still very sore. I will be off till at least next Wednesday still.
I cannot even type on the computer I am thankful that my phone I can speak into and it types for me. This is the main reason I haven't been on here very often.

We're having snowfall warnings here for tonight expecting up to 15 centimeters of snow... I don't have any boots yet! It is also too early for it so many leaves still on the trees it could end up being a real problem.

Hope you are having a fabulous day
I am glad to hear the pain is lessening, I hope the snow doesn't cause any problems for your area.

Thinking of him, your wife, and your entire family. My husband has worked as a hospice chaplain. Hospice can be a great gift in a difficult time-I hope it's that for your family. I'm so sorry that there's nothing more they can do.

It always does sound good, but just plain ol "FRIDAY" sounds even better! :D

I went to Dollar General last night to get some gift bags - they had an isle of Christmas up & they were still working on more. There was a lady in there in her jammie bottoms & slippers (you know those walmartian emails...yep, that was her) - and mercy was she WHINING about "Christmas already!!" I just looked at her & smiled as big as I could. I didn't say a word! :p
You should have said: "Jammies already, I don't see a bed." :)
When I hear complaining about the Christmas stuff I always find the one thing with a button and play it while they are in the area.
