Maybe people are already getting in to the holiday spirit. Seemed like more people were out shopping today. Maybe for Christmas gifts or at least ideas...

I noticed that too, we were just over by the mall and it was packed!

I loved Ozzy's music back in the day. My kids get such a kick out of the music that I was in to. I tell them it's better than most of the stuff they're listening to these days!

It's pretty nice out there. Supposed to be a bit cooler tomorrow. Praying this winter isn't too bad. I don't mind the cold but those single digits/below zero temps are too much for me.

Yeah if we just get a NORMAL winter it will seem like Paradise.

I don't know how old you are (you look youngish) but I'm 37, don't really think I'm "that old" but I was listening to a song I grew up listening to and my friend said "wow that's a classic." I was like wow so now my music is considered classic/old...guess I am getting old.

We are on our way back Home now after our holiday in Disneyland Paris....Holiday way amazing but sure am glad of sitting down here on the train resting my feet after walking all week lol... Okay, Snowflake and Holiday, you both invited me up north to enjoy the cool weather. I'm moving up there until this heat passes! Can I bring anything???

At least the temp has dropped some. Was 96 yesterday and today will be in the upper 80's, it's getting better!!! Yay!!!

We have tiny bits of what appears to be styrofoam falling from the sky as the sun is setting - I'm not calling the four-letter-word I can't speak it or it might turn to the other four-letter-word that rhymes with doe.
The recent rain and winds have removed quite a bit of leaves from the trees.

Hi MMC Friends...happy Friday..hope everyone is having a great day! My 9 y/o is having a friend sleepover so I am preparing for myself to be up late and a few cups of coffee tomorrow morning! Not up too much this weekend...going to a friend's house tomorrow night and 2 soccer games on Sunday.

I miss sleepovers and all night horror movies. When we were younger three siblings that lived around the corner would come over to our place; our mom was awesome like that; we always had so much fun camping out in the family room with sleeping bags all six of us and she'd fix us up some chip and dip and popcorn for the movies and breakfast in the morning.

Well, sadly, last night, my wife's grandfather took a turn for the worse and today the hospital said they could do no more and sent him to a Hospice. You know what that means...They told my wife and Mil that it could be 2 days, 2 weeks or a month, they just didn't know exactly..... So, it's now the waiting process which in a lot of ways is worse than something happening suddenly...

When my older cousin took ill, we sent her flowers in the hospital and they kindly forwarded them onto the hospice. She switched places that quickly. It's not an easy road for those involved, but sometimes it's a blessing because you get a chance to share your stories and expressions of love before they're gone. Thinking of you and your wife and the family.

Well I've relaxed a bit tonight and now I'm planning on relaxing as in resting/sleeping...I wake up early even on weekends just cause I can't sleep late. I hope everyone has a great night. Friday night restful...peaceful...and the dreams of the weekend now reality.

I'm an early riser by nature; I slept in an hour later than usual yesterday morning because I had to go for bloodwork so that meant no coffee or food so I wanted to just wake up shower, get dressed, pack my breakfast and lunch and take off. Well, the cat thought something was up and tried several times to wake me up. Well, O'Malley managed to wake me, but I insisted I was staying in bed and going back to sleep. He won out half an hour later.

Vinyl is making a comeback!

Vinyl never went away in our house! We both have LPs and 45s going back to our childhood and teen days. Including Christmas records!

That is AMAZING---I've never seen anything like the carvings he does! Very true to the original movie images! (Can't wait to see if he does a Bela Lugosi (hint, hint))!
