We'll help each other on here for sure do that.
The one thing I hate is when January comes and I look back and say "Man I wish I did this or that." This year I just wanna enjoy it as much as humanly possible.

I lost my grandmother in 2009. A piece of me died when she did. She was one of the most important people in my life. But I have great memories of her and she also lived a healthy live in to her 80s. She only got sick a few months before she passed.
 
Good Morning.
A new week -- a new count number set.
Let's inspect it:

Days to Halloween: 11 (Getting right on down toward single digits!)
Days to the Season: 25 (Just over 3 1/2 weeks!)
Days to Christmas Day: 67 (Barely over 10 1/2 weeks!)

We are closing in, Folks!


Well, it definitely took a cool turn yesterday, and this morning is downright cold at 38 degrees.
At least it should continue to be sunny with little to no chance of precipitation.

And I hope your week is off to as great a start as the Panthers' and Packers' NFL seasons have been!

Monday following vacation is always the hardest. Glad you all had a good time at Disney. The mornings are so dark and getting darker, it is very hard getting out of bed!

Har had a pretty good weekend ❤️
I am still very concerned, and very aware of her behavior even more so now. I've been trying to gather up as much information as possible, and I'm also waiting to talk to her regular vet, who has been on vacation.
For now, we are just being very observant of her breathing and cough, and extra careful not to tire her out too much . We will probably eventually run some tests, but want to get more opinions first on where to begin. We're hearing conflicting ideas, and don't want to put ourselves in a position like we did last time, when we ran thousands of dollars worth of tests, and never got a definitive answer,

Agreed, that happens with me each year too. Fingers crossed that we stay committed and partake in every ounce of Christmas that we can get our hands on!

At least the temp has dropped some. Was 96 yesterday and today will be in the upper 80's, it's getting better!!! Yay!!!

Come on over! Not only was it 28º yesterday morning, but our furnace isn't working.... You'll cool off fast! LOL

I stated that that was actually a myth, that the media had been making that complaint since the early 1900s. That took a little wind out of her sails ... but she must have been vaccinated with a phonograph needle. Yatta yatta yatta!

Glad you have such wonderful memories of her, you'll carry them with you always.
