Thanks for the reminder!!! We have already watched it a few times in the past few weeks but there is something special about watching it on TV with the rest of you! I might even bring the grandkids over to watch it with me!

Happy Tuesday! I'm happy this morning for lots of reasons-
2 days to anniversary trip vacation
warmer weather than yesterday's super chill
a slower day at work
and less than 12 hours until the great pumpkin is on!!!!!
WONDERFUL DAY!!! I'll probably skype with my sisters while watching. We love doing that since we can't be with each other and watch it anymore.
The holiday cheer on here yesterday is contagious--let's keep it going today! It helps motivate me to clean and prepare and get ready to decorate!!!!

We actually watched The Great Pumpkin on Sunday night (hubby's band was playing so the kids and I snuggled in my bed and watched!) but I'm sure we will watch again before Halloween!
At said show, poor Paul (husband) tripped carrying his gear and got a nasty cut! He was off yesterday and had to get stitched up. But he's recovering nicely and he's a trooper!
Back normal today. Getting the kids off to school, gotta clean a bit and cook. Thinking of freezing some cookie dough for Christmas starting this week! I have room in my deep freeze for once!!

Days to the Season: 24 (UNDER 3 1/2 weeks!)
Days to Christmas Day: 66 (Below 10 1/2 weeks!)
Gee. Starting to close in on the end of October.
(That sure went fast, didn't it?)
Chilly yesterday but at least it was calm with plenty of sun.
A slow warming trend is expected and we should be back at least into the low 70's for highs, shortly.
This morning has commenced cold again at 39 degrees here in the capital city.

Well it looks like we have a new prime minister here in Canada, Justin Trudeau got himself a majority government which is quite amazing.
And the Jays won the game last night!!!!
It is actually a nice mild morning here today which is nice considering how chilly it's been the last few days. Hard to believe Halloween is so close I don't even have a pumpkin ready yet. Of course this year my sons going to have to do all the work on that one.. I have a big rally to go to on Halloween Day but should be home in time to hand out candy to the little ones.

Did someone say CHALLENGER?? WOW! What a day!!! I bet Jacob is thrilled!!! What color? Our neighbors had their challenger for sale & it was so tempting - but we maintained. Ha ha! Beautiful vehicles!Hey, y'all! It's been crazy-busy, and this is the first chance I've had to check in.
Nancy and I went crazy Saturday, too. We dropped Elizabeth off at Nutcracker practice, then messed around and traded her car...and bought Jacob one, too!
We've been needing to get Jacob a car. He starts college in less than a year. Anyway, we rode past a dealership that had his dream car in the used lot, so we stopped. Long story short, after several hours, we traded Nancy's Tahoe for a new Nissan Altima, and used the difference to buy Jacob a slightly-used 2015 Dodge Challenger! They're both great cars, but that Challenger is AWESOME!
I've never bought two cars in the same day before, but it really worked out good for us. Maybe Jacob will let me ride with him on occasion.
That night, Nancy woke me up at 2am, worried if we had done the right thing. Grrr! I think she's over it now. There's something about that new car smell that make it easier to justify LOL.
