Good morning everyone.
Woke up with a headache again, third day in a row. Can't seem to shake this one off. So annoying. Anyway, my youngest has a routine dentist appointment this morning. I have to stop at the supermarket afterward to pick up a few things. Back home to work on daily chores. Skipping my workout dvd today and going for a walk around a lake that's near my house. I drove by the other day and it looks extra pretty with the trees changing colors. So peaceful there, I just love it. That's about it for me. Hope everyone is well and has a nice day!

I hope the peaceful setting will help your headache. The lingering ones are the worst.

Good morning MMC!

Well it looks like we have a new prime minister here in Canada, Justin Trudeau got himself a majority government which is quite amazing.
And the Jays won the game last night!!!!

It is actually a nice mild morning here today which is nice considering how chilly it's been the last few days. Hard to believe Halloween is so close I don't even have a pumpkin ready yet. Of course this year my sons going to have to do all the work on that one.. I have a big rally to go to on Halloween Day but should be home in time to hand out candy to the little ones.

GOOD MORNING, MMC!

Happy Tuesday! I'm happy this morning for lots of reasons-
2 days to anniversary trip vacation
warmer weather than yesterday's super chill
a slower day at work
and less than 12 hours until the great pumpkin is on!!!!!

WONDERFUL DAY!!! I'll probably skype with my sisters while watching. We love doing that since we can't be with each other and watch it anymore.

The holiday cheer on here yesterday is contagious--let's keep it going today! It helps motivate me to clean and prepare and get ready to decorate!!!!

Good Tuesday Morning MMC! We currently have 45 degrees under partly cloudy skies. We are expecting a high temperature today of 67 degrees under mostly sunny skies. That sounds a lot better to me than the chill we had over the weekend.
Well it's back to work for me after a 3 day weekend. I always say it when I have a long weekend but it's true...that 3rd day really does make a difference. I felt so much more energy this morning than if I came back from a normal weekend. For me now for the rest of the year it's all about the 3 big vacations...Thanksgiving...Christmas...and New Years. Of course, now we are getting seriously towards the Christmas season. I'm just hoping we can take it all in as we approach it. Tonight "The Great Pumpkin." I can't wait to watch that when I get home.
I hope everyone has a great Tuesday. Tuesday just means that we won't see Monday again till after an awesome weekend . Talk to you guys later!

Hope your 1st day back to work after a 3 day weekend goes well!! Always feels like a Monday to me when I do that...but it's not...IT'S TUESDAY!!

Good morning my festive friends!!!

We actually watched The Great Pumpkin on Sunday night (hubby's band was playing so the kids and I snuggled in my bed and watched!) but I'm sure we will watch again before Halloween!

At said show, poor Paul (husband) tripped carrying his gear and got a nasty cut! He was off yesterday and had to get stitched up. But he's recovering nicely and he's a trooper!

Back normal today. Getting the kids off to school, gotta clean a bit and cook. Thinking of freezing some cookie dough for Christmas starting this week! I have room in my deep freeze for once!!

Yep, he delivers UPS so you can imagine... Ha ha!

From what I've read about their training, it takes a hard worker to get along as a UPS deliveryman! I hope the season isn't too hard on him.

It's really ok! they never said they would be there yesterday, I guess I just assumed b/c normally they are there same day. They probably figure the temps are warm enough this week, it's not an emergency! It was 73º in our house yesterday when I got home from work! I opened up the blinds & let the sun do it's job! I'm sure they will come before the cold weather moves in again!

Thanks Merry! Yep, it is hard work...even more so over the holidays! Lots of long hours lifting packages! I always tell him he should wear a Santa hat during Christmas week, but he doesn't see the humor in that.
