Goodnight Snowflake, sweet dreams!

Once a year...that's a big Thanksgiving Day.Thanksgiving is a lot of work, I think it's nice to get a break once in while. Hope you get to have the Turkey Trot, that sounds like fun!
We're starting out with an antipasto, a cheese platter, stuffed mushrooms, bruschetta, shrimp cocktail and a spinach & artichoke dip. Then we'll have lasagna. Then the turkey & gravy, praline yams, mashed potatoes, stuffing, roasted Brussels sprouts, roasted asparagus, spinach salad with warm bacon dressing, quiche Lorraine, dinner rolls and cranberry sauce. Everyone usually brings dessert so that helps me out. But I'll definitely be making myself a gluten free pumpkin pie, I must have that. I think I'm going to make a gluten free pecan pie as well. Why not, it's only once a year.![]()
I get the feeling you're a great cook.Chicken Piccata, rice pilaf and broccoli with garlic & olive oil. It was very good!![]()
I could probably deal with that. Maybe November 1, but I like your thinking!I know I'm in the minority but I wish it would start snowing Oct 1 and us not see the ground until late March.
Thanks Jon!Something that SiriusXM never mentions on their holiday page is 'Radio Classics' Channel 148. In Season host Greg Bell provides Old Time Radio (OTR) Christmas programming. Usually this starts Thanksgiving weekend and goes to the end of the year.
Bell posts his schedule on a weekly basis so check back often beginning the week of Thanksgiving (US). Check now for Halloween shows! Then a few Thanksgiving shows will air.
For more radio seasonal programming, shows and schedules be sure to check this annual forum thread.
Hi Holiday! Gracie pics sure would be nice...hint, hint.Have a terrific Tuesday evening MMC!!! It's such a dreary ol rainy day here, I'm happy to have supper already made - leftovers!Maybe I'll do some kind of fun baking tonight while listening to the last few songs on the Kelly Clarkson Christmas cd....and I also bought another new cd I haven't listened too yet -it's a compilation of artists!
See ya'll tomorrow if not before!

I heard that New England is going to get hammered again this coming winter....Mid-Atlantic; will be a hit-or-miss winter, the South; warm and wet....
Thanks! That is an awesome shirt xmas!
I love the fact they are starting their Christmas music early this year. I believe Music Choice is also starting on Nov. 2.Happy Tuesday folks. Rainy day here with temp at 50. Wish it was colder and all this was snow.
SiriusXm satellite radio kicks off their Christmas programming Tuesday, Nov 2. Here is a link to their website for the details.

Thank you, I think it did. She was happy to see me when I got home, not upset or anything. But she did have a bit of a rough night with her stomach. Hopefully today is better.Sorry it was so hectic today, hope you were able to have a relaxing evening!
Praying that Harlowe's appointment went well.
