It's wet! Sleet, snow, rain type mix.A rare log in for me tonight!! Just couldn't stay away - I'm feeling so festive! I have chili soup simmering on the stove for the chili dump on Saturday & I just finished listening to the Pumpkin Spice Podcast. Loved it! So entertaining!! Now I just turned on some Christmas music & thinking about what to have for supper?! Chili? LOL!

Oh no! I hope everyone was ok! There was a terrible accident tonight close to my friends house tonight too. Careflight was called. UGH! We *only* had rain! (and 62º) Stay safe my friend!

I'm not sure, we are on the frontage road but the highway is right outside of our company. There were numerous police cars, and they had routed everyone away from the highway, closed part of it down, heading north. Everyone was on the frontage road in front of my work.
There was a school bus involved

SNOWFLAKE ~ I can't believe I forgot to tell you - I had cheese curds over the weekend! Our lake neighbor had a friend bring them home from Wisconsin. I'm sure they are better when you go straight to Wisconsin to get them, but they were VERY good. I couldn't stop eating them!

As of six hours ago it wasn't supposed to start until late tonight, and it was supposed to remain in the high 40s. They have no idea what they're talking about here!

My brother actually went out in the snow driving with a donut tire since his tire was flat...needless to say he made it about 2 blocks before hitting into someone's fence downhill. He was 19 though...we do a lot of stupid things when we're young...and just slightly less stupid things when we're older.LOL! Kind of like when you trip while walking & there was a "bump" in the floor. Uh huh!

Who knows, lol! Could have been, not all types squeak but most of the cheddar and Colby do. Glad you enjoyed them!

Please send up a prayer for my SIL if you don't mind. She is in ICU - they took her last night by squad then transferred her to a bigger hospital to have fluid drained from her heart. She was supposed to be moved to a regular floor today but they don't want to take the drain out b/c they are still getting fluid from around her heart. They got a liter last night, more overnight & 400 ml today. She has low sodium levels, low energy, no appetite. She has had breast cancer in the past & was supposed to have a surgery to remove an ovary a couple weeks ago before she started feeling so sick with a chest cold. They are running a lot of tests & her oncologist is involved. She is very sick. This is my brother who passed away in 2012 - his wife. She sure can use some prayers! Thanks friends!
