Nah, it was okay. They have reserves planned in in case someone gets sick or oversleeps. Because it is exam period, all we need to do is keep an eye on the students while they make their tests, which is also when the chance of something going wrong increases if, like me, someone does not look at the schedule properly and misses a shift. Luckily I live close by, so I was able to get there before it ended.

We are doing pretty well, thanks. Both of us are enjoying the mild weather, knowing a long winter is ahead! We spent some time on the deck last night-so peaceful and brisk, but still comfortable.

Kids are back at school today. We felt very christmassy this morning as we walked to school. The next time the children are off will be Christmas break. The excitement crushed any back to school blues
I'll be working home most of the day and maybe nipping to the shops quickly after I take my youngest to nursery at mid day. Wonder if there will be any Halloween bargains ...

Good morning Festive...hope your day is going good so far...I did manage to get Halloween bargains yesterday..I got a dancing skeleton,animated doorbell,pumpkin for the kids to paint,3 hanging decorations and last but not least 6 packets of foam shapes pumpkins...saved over £70 pounds only paid £8 for the lot

I have been doing a lot of christmas planning and I have the christmas movie channel on since Sunday. I may buy some christmas cards for the card exchange when I pop to the shops later.

I have been getting into the Christmas mood by browsing the internet and MMC. I plan to listen to some Christmas music this afternoon while I grade the exams my students made. Should be good.

He is doing pretty well, thanks. They enjoyed the mass last night honoring Dorothy, and other loved ones who had passed last year.
He still has the same health issues but has adjusted & learned to deal with them better.

I saw coloring books in Michael's the other day, I'm definitely going to pick one up for myself. If could certainly use a de-stressor!
I tried to crochet for a little while yesterday but it didn't work out too well. I kind of forgot that a ball of yarn and four cats do not go well together. I was being attacked from every angle, it was ridiculous. The only way I'll be able to crochet is if I lock myself in my bedroom, and I really don't want to do that during the day. I'm glad I went to the class though, at least I know the basics now. Hopefully I'll find the time to work on a project one of these days!
I heard the same thing, looking forward to it. Sunny with temperatures in the upper 60's today!
