I know. We all do and fingers crossed for you and your neck of the woods at least. For us I can't see them knowing so much in advance if the next day is a challenge. LOL ! I want to be wrong though. Did you get any last year?

I think it's a lot of hype and partially they can't tell 3 months from now what the weather is going to be. I give them credit, overall about 7-10 days out they can usually tell what the weather will be pretty well most of the time. Going beyond that timeframe seems to make them look silly often with their inaccuracy.

Fingers crossed Festive...We just got a covering of snow last year and by midday it melted all away..:(

It is impossible to predict British weather especially where I am. Our weather forecasters are honest about it and the week long forecast will often come with a disclaimer . We are used to it. I admire the long term forecasts in the US. For us the climate is just very unsettled. It's nature.

Well that's positive. At least you got some! At some point we have to have snow right! So let's hope and you are right this could very well be the year! I secretly hope that by not believing it then I can jinx it into happening LOL !
