Afternoon guys,
I made it through the dentist and have been feeling a bit better. Now I am wondering if I should hold off on the doctor. This seems to be the trend though. I have spells where I feel a bit better and think the Dr. is not necessary.

Ya, last winter was ridiculous! Sat/Sun/Mon we have highs in the mid 50's - then back to low/mid 60's for a couple days - then it looks like back to the 50's the remainder of the 15 day forecast - probably won't hit the 70's anymore after tomorrow! Why do we always get this gorgeous weather while we are at work??

It's a conspiracy!

Thank you! Back in June she got really sick. She was in kidney failure. We had a feeling she got into something at the lake. We took her to a specialist & she believed she has PLE & PLN which is a protein losing disease. Generally dogs with this do not do well, long term. They put her on 3 meds + fish oil & she is on a special low protein dog food. Her next apt after being on meds, all tests came back normal, which shocked the specialist. So now we wait to see what they will say after this apt (3 months later) xx

Gracie is doing well! She has been acting like an even bigger goof ball this week than normal!! She goes back to the vet for more tests in a couple weeks, so hopefully they all come back very good. Makes me nervous!!
Her boyfriend Jackson is good too. She won't get to see him for awhile now since we closed up at the lake ~ they will miss each other! We'll have to schedule a play date!
And how is Kimmie?

I hope the appointment goes well with only good news to report!

Kimmie is doing wonderful; she gets cuter and sweeter with each passing day.

Thanks Merry. I felt ok and managed to make it to the dentist and get through the appointment. He was very kind in letting me have little pauses. I actually didn't cough too much and it only lasted about 15mins. I had some cough syrup right before too. I am glad I can put the dentist behind me. One less worry! I am feeling ok now but it's weird I have spells where I think I am getting better only to dip again.

How i Mr?? Did he make it to his film showing? I hope he is better.

Glad to hear your feeling a tad better Festive...But i would still phone for an appointment anyway as it could take you a few days too get one..If your feeling better by then you could just cancel the appointment...I always feel i cough is fine through the day and when you go to bed it gets worse again..Take care my friend

Yes, as you can tell by now I am not one to go the doctor's easily LOL. I always think I can beat whatever it is.

Goodness I missed a lot of posts for the first half of the year. I am so relieved to hear she improved and I will be praying that her next results will be clear. It sounds like you have had good care by the Vet for her. When is her appointment?

Next week's forecast looks a little better with closer to normal temp but no real cold. Last night the wife and I slept with the windows open and a ceiling fan on. Our lows have been what our highs should be.

The rain continued yesterday, albeit at a lower level.
More rain is possible this morning, then perhaps drier for the afternoon.
