Christmas Countdown - 2015

Merry afternoon,
Just got back in. The weather is horrible. Storms and arctic gales sweeping through. However there is something quite cosy and comforting about returning home out of the cold and wet especially when you can switch on some fairy lights and christmas music!

Good morning MMC!!! Happy Friday Eve! WOOT! Hope everyone's day has started off GREAT!
My bro & sil made it home safe from Cape Cod! So awesome to see them! I haven't seen her since Christmas & him since March when Dad passed away! That's much too long! Last night the weather was too nasty for pizza's on the grill & a bonfire, but we got together at my brothers - I made a pizza in my oven at home in a cast iron pizza pan (to keep it hot) before I went over, my bro/sil made several pizza's in their oven & my sis/bil picked up a couple pizza's from the quick stop - all delicious! The Grandkids were running around like crazy little nut jobs (LOL) ~ they had a blast! So cute!

That's about it from me today. This is actually my Friday since I'm of tomorrow to "pick chicken" for the wedding! Gracie has her apt tomorrow morning at 8:30 too - nervous!

Good evening everyone, just ran through the posts quick. I would like to respond but I'm having a hard time keeping my eyes open. I have not been sleeping well at all and it's really catching up with me. I have been keeping busy preparing for Thanksgiving next week and I have been Christmas shopping when ever I get a chance. I've also been working on my small claims case. Other than going to court next month, there's a lot to look forward to. Can't believe Thanksgiving is in one week. I hope the time slows down, it always seems to go by so fast. I hope everyone is well and had a nice day. I'm keeping all of you in my prayers. Goodnight!

I'm off to the dentist for the 4th time in 1 week.
This temp crown is not working for me. Hope all well be fixed properly so i can use this two one until next Thursday when the permanent crown will be placed.

Oh no...that stinks! I hope they can get it right this time. I have such a fear of the dentist!

Good Thursday Morning MMC! It's a mild 56 degrees under cloudy skies today with a high temperature expected to be 62 with rain. Eh I'll take a mild rainy day for once. We could use the rain because this summer and fall we've had very little.
I was just thinking about how Thursdays are gonna be "not normal" coming up. Obviously next Thursday (Thanksgiving) but also for me Dec 10 I have my work Christmas party, the following Thursday 17th I have my final exam, obviously the Thursday after that I think I don't have to explain what that is lol just the best day of the entire year (Christmas Eve) and the following Thursday New Years Eve...so yeah Thursdays are going to be anything but boring here pretty much the rest of the year.
I hope you guys all have a great Thursday and think about what's about to come here...take it all in guys!

I have 5 conference calls..ugh but my plan is to listen to Christmas music in between them. I woke up with a bit of a headache, I think due to the rain we are supposed to get so I am going to pop an advil and have another cup of coffee.

Merry Thursday all,

Hope everyone is doing well, Sorry I can't keep up with posts these days. My eldest son has been having a tough time recently and I have been preoccupied. I doubt I am very good company these days

I am enjoying the season however and savouring the time because it is already flying by so fast. I watched A Golden Christmas last night. I don't think I saw that one before.

Saturday is our tree night!!! We are so excited!

Days to Christmas Day: 36 (FIVE weeks from tomorrow!)

And now that both of our counts have entered the final Home Stretch, things will really begin to move quickly.
(Better start getting ready if you haven't already!)


Nice and pleasant here yesterday with temps near 70 and only a few passing threatening clouds, a harbinger of today's precipitation.
We are at 66 degrees here currently, with a light rain falling.


Have a Thrilling Thursday Everyone, and be advised that tomorrow is the last Weekend Eve before Thanksgiving!

ok, I am seriously tired now....made a model of my gingerbread house.... baked half of it.... 20 pieces of gingerbread with 20 to go yet after I mix up more dough

I made some green beans with grilled mushrooms and beef slices. All with fresh herbs and we finished it all!
Potato nacho's sounds nice as well.
