So sorry to hear about Maggie and hopefully the antibiotics make her better! Our furbabies sure know how to keep us worried. I say it all the time but I sure wish they could talk!!! We could a diagnosis on them way faster!

I forgot, a friend of mine is moving out to Long Island next month. He is getting married to someone who already lives there and it will become their new home. The wedding is on December 14th

When I started for work this morning, I saw the most beautiful frost pattern on my windshield. It would have made a beautiful carpet, or wallpaper, or a tapestry! I thought, what a shame I have to obliterate it to get to work on time ... doggone workaday world. Then later I realized: If it wasn't for the doggone workaday world, I wouldn't have seen that beautiful frost pattern at all! I would have been doing things inside the house. Sometimes it seems like things happen for a purpose!

very icy here this morning, but nice and warm and cosy in here.
Just put some cheese and bacon biscuits in the oven for breakfast
Have to do some errands this morning, and stop at the library.
LittleCS coming over to continue work on our gingerbread houses.

Days to Christmas Day: 31 (1 MONTH FROM TOMORROW!!)


Well, it's downright cold at this hour here in the capital city, where we stand at 33 degrees.
We had a chilly day yesterday despite plenty of sun. At least there was no precipitation of any kind.
Warmer weather is on the way, however!

Good morning MMC! Happy Thanksgiving Tuesday!! I can't believe there are only 2 nights left to prepare before the big day! Crazy! Tomorrow night my sisters/nieces/Mom/mil are going to see the play/musical Mama Mia, so last night we went to Moms to watch the movie Mama Mia....now I'm really excited for tomorrow night. It's so entertaining! But that only leaves TONIGHT to get things ready for Thanksgiving! Good thing I'm not hosting! I was supposed to bring a pumpkin roll & sausage dressing to my sisters on Thursday but my sil said she has so many cupcakes left from the wedding & my sis has 3 pumpkin pies we probably won't need the pumpkin roll so I'm going to make sweet potato soufflé instead! YUM! I'll make the sausage dressing tonight (crock pot) so all I have to do is turn it on Thursday - and I can make the soufflé while watching the Macy's parade! But tonight I have got to get to the grocery. UGH! I don't mind the grocery during the holidays but I really need a Kroger trip this time & that place is just nuts!

Thanks DYHWIH! Thankfully she acts like she feels fine, unlike when she got so sick in June! But our worrying about her = Gracie getting quite spoiled! Appreciate the prayers - haven't heard anything about results yet. Maybe today or tomorrow?!

Good Tuesday morning, my Christmas friends!

It's cold down here! I had so much ice on my windshield, I had to scrape it off. That's pretty unusual for us in November!

Mama called to say that she's made an agreement to buy a lawn mower today, and wants me to take her with my truck and a trailer to get it this morning. My truck is such a mess. Lulu is the only one who rides with me, so I pretty much live like a bachelor in it, with Pepsi cans, chip bags and candy wrappers everywhere. I have to go clean it our real quick, so Mama doesn't disown me.
