My nieces stayed up until 11pm. No more pumpkin pie, cupcakes, and pumpkin roll for them when I am babysitting. LOL!!!

Feels weird not to be out battling the crowds shopping like we normally do. My football skills will just have to wait another year to come back out of retirement I guess.

Good Friday Morning MMC! As they call it "Black Friday" well I already ordered a bunch of gifts on Thanksgiving online. That's when I start my Christmas shopping. It's so easy to just click stuff isn't it? I put thought all year in to what I want to buy so when the time comes I am pretty ready and have a good idea as to what I will get. Thanksgiving was an awesome and fun day. I hope you all had a great one. It's just one of the best days of the year. I had my annual walk with my friend and food, football and family all afternoon and evening. It's just such a great rare traditional day. I loved it and look forward to it even more next year. But now it's time to start buying some more Christmas gifts, do some errands and put up the tree/decorations today.

Good Morning, Post-Pumpkin Pie People!

Did everyone have a great Thanksgiving? We did.
Too much food of course, but that's par for the course.
Just cut back a bit for a while to carve some room for Christmas dinner.
(And that dinner just might be closer than you think.)

Days to Christmas Day: 28 (Only FOUR weeks left now!)


We had a real nice turkey day yesterday with temps in the upper 60's, no wind and plenty of sun. Today may see us crack 70 before cooler weather returns for the weekend.
Right now, we show 46 degrees on our back door temperature recorder.


Have a Fabulous Friday, Friends.
And if you are so inclined, a Boffo Black Friday, too!

It was a rough morning but the pumpkin pie & whipped cream at 3:00 am made it little bit easier :)
