Happy December my MMC Friends! Not up too much just working and I am hoping to finish up my shopping this weekend for my oldest daughter.

We got some bad news this past Friday...my SIL was diagnosed with breast cancer..she is only 44. The Drs are recommending a double mastectomy due to family history. My MIL had a double mastectomy at 42 and her mother had breast cancer several times in the 60's and 70's and passed away when she was only in her late 50's. So she is meeting with the surgery team on the 8th to go over everything. If you could keep her in your prayers/thoughts...I would appreciate it.

Hope everyone has a great day and we are excited for Rudolph tonight!

Has everyone got christmas day planned out yet???

I haven't yet, it is usually quite a last minute thing. I will probably go over to my parents' with my younger brother to have dinner on Christmas Eve and watch Carols from Kings there as well. We will then stay over and either visit my grandmother for Christmas dinner or have a simple dinner while watching A Muppets Christmas Carol at home. It should be good either way.

Finally received the last of my new yard lights. Had to put them right away so I could admire them. Now I feel like Christmas is really on the way.

LOL! Thank you snowflake! It will just force me to get it together! BUT thankfully Jim texted & said they are now looking at the 18th! That makes me feel MUCH more comfortable about it! The food at all these houses is always amazing - we have been the "breakfast house" the last couple times - which I love b/c I have a lot of yummy breakfast/brunch recipes....but this year the neighbors said they have never been "the breakfast house" so they will take it off my hands....(it always gets really LATE, which is fine...) - but now I have to come up with a new food plan. LOL

You'll nail it I'm sure Good luck and have lots of fun. And if any of the recipies were a hit we would love to hear about it.
