Good Morning, Everyone.
Well -- we have arrived.
(No, don't panic. Christmas is not here yet. Quite.)
What we have reached is the ONE WEEK MARK!!
Yes, Folks, Christmas Day arrives precisely ONE week from today.

Days to Christmas Day: 7
(Better start rushing those plans to completion, eh?)

It had to end.

The good weather. It was miserably chilly and rainy all day yesterday. To top it all off, I got a flat tire. Thank goodness someone got me a portable, battery-powered tire inflator for my birthday this year and I was soon back on the road.
The temp this morning is 54 degrees. It's damp but there's no rain in sight.
Frigid temps are expected soon!

Good morning everyone! I'm in that borderline place this morning where I could tip either way with getting sick...I'm going to just keep focusing on not getting sick so that I stay healthy! I have a race at the beach tomorrow with my husband that I'd hate to miss, so I'm just going to drink a ton of OJ and take care of myself this evening when I get off work!

One week to Christmas...I'm amazed. Around this time each year, I find it hard to get in the Christmas spirit sometimes, but that's okay. It'll come when fully when I'm able to get off work on Christmas Eve. :)

Talk about a hectic morning!! I had to take my youngest to his Christmas party and my eldest to school. Parents were invited to see the little ones meet Santa so I had to pop back to nursery and then rush to my eldest' s church service!!!

Last day of school today! So exciting!

I am quickly writing out cards to my neighbours because the kids and I usually post them through their doors on our way back from the school run on the last day of school before christmas!

I hope you all are well!

Not too much going on here today. I woke up with a headache so I think me & Maggie will be heading back to bed for a little bit. My husbands company Christmas party is this evening so I need to rest and pull myself together!

Daughter all better, now son sick with same thing...I am refusing to get it, much to busy.

hmmmm, forgot to push the post reply button before leaving

so I am back from work now, had a slow but good day there.
We might get some snow tomorrow! But aside from that a green Christmas is predicted for this area. I hope they are wrong, would love to have some snow for Christmas.

Just found out today we are moving in the new year, either in Feb or March, waiting to hear when the unit will be ready for us. It is a really long move, all the way across the parking lot. We have to down size to a two bedroom, this 3 bedroom is more room than we need now.

Had the fire department visit us today..some of them are really cute! The CO2 detector in the basement went off. No CO2 anywhere, turns out it was just old and needed replacing. But it gives the neighbours something to talk about since they decided to come with all their sirens blasting and lights on.

Having cabbage rolls for dinner, other than that a quiet evening.

Just wanted to pop in quick to thank everyone who sent me good luck wishes, we presented our case and will be notified by mail after the judge comes to a decision.
I just bought my last Christmas gift, a pair of tickets to an Islander game for my husband. It feels good to be done shopping, just have to finish wrapping and get this house in order for Christmas Day. I'm really looking forward to hosting!
