TGIF and Happy 1 week to Christmas everyone!! As everyone here has been saying, time is flying too fast, but today is my last day working my FT job. I'm done at 1:30pm and then I don't work until Jan 4th!! The kids and fiancé have school/work Monday and Tuesday next week and the fiancé has to work til the 24th ( ) so I'll have time to slow down and relax. The fiancé got a promotion at work (almost a $3/hr raise with it ) so we are going to Fuji Steakhouse with friends to celebrate. Hoping everyone has a wonderful day and everything goes like planned or if it's unplanned that it is a very good outcome!! Merry Christmas everyone!!

There's a sort of buzz at the office today, because the Christmas ornament contest is being judged around 12:30, with a big cash prize to the winner. Entrants are playing it close to the vest; only one entrant (that is in VERY poor taste) is on display so far. A few people, including me, and wearing Christmassy apparel, and pizza is coming in at noontime. So holiday spirit is starting to run a bit around here!

Looking forward to a weekend of cramming in as much Christmas music, lights, movies, and everything else Christmas as I can manage! So little time remains to indulge in the best season of the year!

They took our forecast high temp for Christmas down from 66 the other day to 57 yesterday to 51 today. At this rate maybe it'll snow on Christmas (kidding). But at least it appears we will have some rain on Wednesday and that Christmas Eve it should start to clear out and Christmas Day looks to be nice weather.

One guy sent away and had action figures made of our CEO and CFO ... they look amazing.
I sit near the area where they paste up "boards" for presentations (think rulers, paper cutter, tape, Xacto knives, etc.), so various people are going in and out putting the last-minute touches on their entries.
I hope the workday will be a very slow one, so I can enjoy the atmosphere! It'll be hard to work on actual jobs with people comparing notes and flitting around.

lol, well there's cleaning your house, cleaning mine, The endless loads of laundry, playing with my Har, watching Christmas movies, and we have a meeting with another real estate agent to talk lots & home customizations. Then, dinner out with Adi, and coming home to have our neighbor friends stop over for a Christmas spirit

You most definitely can take goodies home with you. You can hang with Gracie, but you can't take her home!
I have never tried the snowdrift vanilla - so I'm guessing it's tasty? I'll pick some up on my way home from work!

Well that sounds like a good day!! Good luck meeting with the real estate agent! Dinner & friends sounds awesome!!! Our house hopping starts at 8:00 at our neighbors cattycorner from us, then we go to the neighbors cattycorner the other way from us, then our house & lastly our back yard neighbors house for breakfast!

Yes, it's hard to proofread when there's constant chatter going on nearby (not to mention squeals and exclamations)! I have "Simply Noise" (white noise, pink noise, brown noise, etc.) up on my browser, so I can put on my headphones and drown out at least some of the chatter while I'm working on a job!

Friday at last! It's been a long week, what with many sick patients and lots of people who want to come in because of insurance changing in January. And just when I thought I was safe, I went and caught the Christmas cold. My nose looks just like Rudolph's, so at least I'm festive.
