I'm bummed I wasn't able to catch up today, but I hope you are all doing well & feeling extra Christmassy!!! 2 more work days this year. YAY (actually 1 1/2 - we get pizza & drinks at noon on Wednesday here at work! Whoop!) Have a wonderful evening!

Hi everyone!

What is going on with the weather? It's very mild and wet here in England, we haven't even had any frost. It's not like December at all, it's more like early October. I don't like it! Hopefully next December will co-operate and be frosty and cold!

I wanted to ask, what's it like in Canada and the U.S just after Christmas? I know in then build up there's Christmas songs playing and decorations up, but when does it all stop? In England we celebrate the 12 days of Christmas really, there's still Christmas movies on until early January (We have a channel dedicated to them called Christmas 24) Most people/public places keep Christmas decorations up until early January and between Christmas and New Year's, people still get together and celebrate.

depends on what part of Canada you are in, we range from just wet and chilly to -50c . I live in SW Ontario and we should be seeing temperatures around 0c with snow by now. Instead it is wet and very mild, going up to 14c this week.

Here decorations are usually left up until after new years. Many do not take the outdoor ones down until spring because it is just to cold out before then.

slowly getting my energy back, went out for awhile this afternoon, needed to pick up some honey, tea without honey is just not right.
Hit a sale at the bulk food store, they are renovating so will be closed until February. so they have everything at 50% off !

Good evening everyone !
Wow, Christmas is soooooo close ! I am glad to say I feel like myself again.
Took my eldest shopping and just got back home, everyone is so excited about Christmas, mostly getting to see how others like what they got them.
I am putting some extra decorations up because my daughters complained about me skipping it this year. It is snowflakes hanging from the ceiling, something I have done since they were little. So I guess I am doing it anyway. LOL, gotta love tradition !

That could be that most people like to be in control of their transportation. With flying, you really have no control. Me, I don't mind flying, but I can empathize with how you feel.

I remember when we were flying to Ireland so many years ago, and I couldn't sleep because I wanted to make sure the pilot didn't miss the turn (like I knew where he was heading). HaHa. My husband and I share the driving now that we both are able and both enjoy it. I think he's a bit erratic, but that's because of the perspective of a passenger view.
