Just a quick Hello this morning!! Merry Pines Day! Got to work late after an early morning trip to Amishville to pick up Emma. It was a nice morning drive. I had a passenger too...

(She turned her face just as I was going to take the pic...) Anyway, she loved the trip. Loved barking at the horse & buggies. LOL! She goes to the groomer at lunch. Busy day for Gracie!

It's also Moms 88th Birthday today. Emma & I stopped & picked up an ice cream cake for her. Hopefully she has a great day!!

Hello Christmas friends...Not the best of days here in my household...My oldest daughter is not doing very well right now...Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers...I am struggling to keep it together here..Thank you!

Christmas followed me a couple times today. I worked from home this morning because of snowy roads and because I had a midday medical appointment, so I turned on the TV while I monitored my office email. There was a broadcast of the old "I've Got a Secret" show from the 1950s, and it was a Christmas Eve show! Then on the way to my appointment I saw a fully decorated Christmas tree outside of a storefront business, all covered with red ribbon bows!

Unfortunately, the results of my appointment require yet another diagnostic appointment, so now I'm getting nervous. I won't give any details just now, but please send up a little prayer if you can spare a few moments. It means a lot to have some MMC prayers working for me. Thanks!

I'm still babysitting my niece who is home with a sinus infection.

and yours, too! I left the doctor's office around 3:00. No flu, but they gave me a shot and told me to stay home from work the rest of the week. LOL, as if....

Good Wednesday evening! Currently waiting for homemade oven fries to be done, it smells really good in here. This has been a day where many of my employees learned some bad news about loved ones, unfortunately. From a brother on his last days, to a grandfather hospitalized after suffering a cardiac arrest, a mother abroad rushed to the hospital after suffering cardiac problems and another employee making arrangements to go back to her country because of her mother battling two types of cancer. It's been a rough day for them, I'm keeping them in my thoughts. Hug someone you love tonight, that's all I can say.

Congrats to everyone for making it through January! Now we get a short 4 week month here in February to help give us a nice early catapult into the countdown. I'm looking forward to that 1/4 marker! Hope everyone is having a nice evening.

Morning everyone..woke up to a few inches of snow covering everything... instantly had the song "Its beginning to look alot like Christmas" in my head!!

I always have a Christmas song pop into my head when it snows. I think that is one of the reasons I love snow so much.

I am not the biggest fan of Twinkies, but I don't mind them every once in awhile. The banana flavor creme ones are just too nasty for me. I tried one once and spit it right out.

Good Wednesday morning, Christmas friends!

I left to get Elizabeth from school yesterday afternoon. She called saying she didn't feel good, so I took her home, then Nancy took her to the doctor. She has the flu, bless her heart. I'd much rather have it myself than see her feeling so bad. They sent her home with Tamiflu, and we're alternating Motrin & Tylenol to help with the fever. I hope she's over it quickly!
