Good Morning, Christmas Compatriots and Season Supporters!

And sometimes we need some support in return.
That's where the Countdown comes into play. Those exciting, ever-declining numbers are sure to provide us with a lift each and every day.

So, without any further delay, today's numbers are presented in all their glory:
Days to the Season: 255
Days to Christmas Day: 297

And if that isn't enough of a boost to your mood, consider this:
In a scant TWELVE days, we will be ONE-THIRD of the way back to our long-awaited and much-coveted Christmas Season.
Nearly down to SINGLE DIGITS, already!
(Just does not seem possible, does it? Better check behind me with our Countdown Chart, just to be sure.)


Rather chilly yesterday. Not really because of the temperatures (50's) but because of the contrast to recent days where we have been spoiled with highs in the 70's and even the low 80's.
A small dose or reality can therefore be beneficial. (A SMALL dose, mind you. Are you listening, Mother Nature?)
Currently, we observe 38 degrees here on our back door thermometer.

TGIF, Christmas friends!

Elizabeth's trio sang at the regional Literary Competition yesterday, and they placed second, so they are going to the State Competition on the 15th! It was a beautiful show, and they should've placed first (IMO), but I was proud of her.

Planning on lunch with mama & Jim, then maybe the auction tonight.

I hope y'all have a great day! :D

Good morning MMC! TGIF!!!!

Busy weekend ahead. I'm staying with Mom from this afternoon until Sunday afternoon. Tomorrow we have my nieces (My Goddaughters) bridal shower. I was in charge of getting presents from the entire family for both shower & wedding (since I'm the Godmother ;)) I got them all wrapped last night - four rolls of wrapping paper later... LOL! Hope they all fit in my vehicle! :D After the shower some of us girls are doing wine & canvas painting. THAT will be interesting!!! LOL! Sunday we are having a belated birthday brunch for Mom at her house. I have to make cinnamon rolls & sausage bread. It's going to be an interesting weekend!

Sounds like a fun weekend, Holiday!! I have done canvas painting. It was fun but I am not much of an artist. ;)
 
Good evening,

Winter has come back for a few days, it is supposed to be below zero tonight, and had a very fast moving snow squall bulldoze through here little earlier. We did enjoy some Chinese food for dinner, which means I have my favorite leftovers to bring for work tomorrow.
Work will be here early, so I am heading to the Land of Nod.

Talk bout an eventful night...our boys won their basketball game and we are going to the semifinals of the state tourney and I just got done with my specialist class....halfway there.

Pretty tired, but just wanted to glimpse at the count...think I will just wait until the morning.
