I've got the flu so no work for me today. Since I have to stay in I decided it's a good day to watch a Christmas movie... so I just watched A Christmas Story

Who else watches Christmas movies already (or still)?

Right here Marshmallow! In fact I watched the two "Prep & Landing" episodes just last week. No way I can go all year without some Christmas Cheer...
Sorry to hear you are having a bout with the flu. It is the one more common ailment that I have never dealt with in nearly 63 years. Yes, I do catch a cold now and then (which usually leads to Bronchitis), but never the flu. I pray you feel better quickly...

Good morning MMC!!! "Merry" Monday!!! I'm not sure where the weekend went! It was a whirlwind!! I was with mom from Friday 1pm until Sunday @ 3pm. In between those hours, we had my nieces bridal shower, then wine & canvas after. Her bachelorette party was also that night, but I stayed back with mom. Sunday morning was busy making sausage bread & cinnamon rolls for Moms birthday brunch, in which about 35 people attended (at her house) After that we were supposed to meet our friends at the local tavern to celebrate our friends birthday. We were just ready to leave when I got a huge group text saying my youngest niece got engaged!!! (This would be a sister to the bride to be who we had the shower for on Saturday) We were supposed to go to the same local tavern my friends were at to celebrate the engagement. 2 birds with 1 stone. That place was hopping - SUNDAY FUNDAY!!! I texted my sister this morning (mother of the 2 brides to be) & asked her what we were going to celebrate today & she replied NO MORE PARTIES!!!

Talk bout an eventful night...our boys won their basketball game and we are going to the semifinals of the state tourney and I just got done with my specialist class....halfway there.

Pretty tired, but just wanted to glimpse at the count...think I will just wait until the morning.

Morning MMC! It's bitter cold here for March 18 degrees. Back to winter I guess for the weekend at least. My Nintendo did arrive as soon as I got home from work. Glad I got it cause I read some people didn't get it from amazon and now, as usual, there's a shortage going around from Nintendo. I hope everyone has a great Saturday!

Good Saturday morning! It's -27°C/-17°F right now with the windchill, but a gorgeous sunny day. I woke up at 6am but got back to bed and stayed in until 8:30am. I'm thinking of staying in, doing chores and catching up on the dvr. First I have to take Loki out for a walk. I think it will be a short one. Have a great day everyone!

Happy Saturday! I was up bright and early today because my youngest had her basketball jamboree at 9:15 this morning and it was about 45 mins away. Tomorrow is her last game...YAY!! I am looking forward to the break. I am relaxing for the rest of the afternoon. My kids both have sleepovers so my husband and I are going to go out to dinner.

Happy Sunday!
Just went out in to the back yard with Maggie, it's chilly out there. We're going to have a high of 32, we are currently at 14 degrees. I am ready for Spring. Not too much going on here today, should be a relaxing day. I'm going to get a pot of sauce going as soon as I finish my cup of coffee. I'm making lasagna for dinner. I may take a ride to HomeGoods later to see if they have any Easter decor. That's about it. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

I'm thinking about making lasagna this week! Been hungry for that! I'm sure it was delish!

Morning MMC! It feels more like winter this weekend than it did for much of February. Should start to warm up later today and through the week coming at least to average. Rollins broke my internet wire so I need to put a new one in. I am going to also do some errands today and try to relax. Have a great Sunday!

Hi MMC! Hope you all are well! Things are moving right along. Have a doctor's appointment tomorrow for hopefully diagnosing what's causing some strange symptoms for me-thinking it's autoimmune related.

Morning! Weekends go too fast don't they? It was a very cold weekend though. I hope we don't have one that cold for a long time now. It was colder than most January and February weekends. March can never decide if it wants to be winter or spring. The switch was fun and got some errands done but now back to work for 5 days. Next weekend actually is the shortest weekend of the year as we have to turn the clocks ahead 1 hour. At least that means it will be getting warmer and lighter out! Have a great day!

Mine would have been something akin to a coma compared to yours (not that I am complaining). Hopefully this week will find things at least a hair calmer and perhaps a weekend to relax. Either way, enjoy yor first full week in the Month of March...

Thanks CGY!! It was a busy weekend, but only a fraction of the busy-ness my sister had, hosting all those people at her house for her daughters shower/bachelorette party....then another daughters engagement the next day! That's WOW!!
