Admit? Celebrate it! I love that soundtrack, too.
"A Charlie Brown Christmas" is timeless. It will be successfully passed from generation to generation.
That is one Christmas CD I don't have.
That will have to be on my short list.
I download music, but my Christmas music I like to have a hard copy.

Good evening,

Day off went well, got quite a bit done including finally installing the solar powered motion light on the garage. I never got my Christmas movie in, but did listen to a lot of Christmas music. Back to work in the morning.
I hope you all had a great day.

Goodnight, everyone

Glad to hear that you had a good day off!! Goodnight, Xmas!!

I feel the same way when I see a gift I gave one of my children, thinking it was a perfect gift for him while we were shopping, or flipping through the TV and not seeing any Christmas shows on the schedule. The PCB's affect everyone different, but in the end we do all get over it.
I still have my Christmas music in my playlist, and I am not ready to give it up yet, my trees are still up while the rest of the world has begun the process of de-Christmasing.
We are all here for each other and talking about it is the best way, especially with us other Christmas lovers.

Definitely. I'm still in full Christmas mode and will be until this Sunday. Music, movies and TV shows, taking the extra long routes any time I have to go somewhere just to see all the decorations and lights still up. And of course, taking part in these wonderful discussions of all things Christmas here on MMC.

And in time the PCBs will pass, as they always do.

Thanks for the reply. Always helps to hear from people who see it the same way as me.

Hello everyone!
Not everyone knows me on here as I don't post very much, but I’ve been around for some time and check the forums pretty often during the holiday season.

I got a case of the post Christmas blues in the beginning of this week. Went back to work on Monday after a week off, but I didn’t feel ready yet. Luckily there wasn’t much to do as it was the first day of the year, so plenty of time to get used to it again. Since Tuesday it’s been pretty stressy already at work but it did help me to get back in the normal 'rhytmn', also coming to MMC has been of help. Took down the decorations and tree on Tuesday night and now I feel fresh and ready for the new year to unfold. I’m looking forward to upcoming holidays and of course Christmas 2017!
I think as Christmas nuts we should remember that there’s always a little bit of Christmas within us and at any given time we can let it out. After all, what’s wrong with watching a Christmas movie in February, listening to that special cd in April or try out a new Christmas cookies recipe in July?!
Let’s keep the spirit up throughout the year and remember we’re not alone in this!! :jump

We almost always try out any new cookie recipes for the CIJ party every year.

Happy New Year Festive!!! Christmas was real nice. It worked out well at my nieces. It was a bummer that mom was in the hospital, hopefully next year she'll be home & well! I think everyone was there except mom & 1 of my nephews, his wife & baby.
How was your Christmas?
I am so sorry your mum was in hospital for Christmas. How is she doing? I hope you all can make up for it this Christmas my friend. (((hugs))))

You have the perfect attitude Marsh. Keep that spirit going. Christmas is on it's way!

Morning MMC! Rollins woke me up about 5 times just tossing and turning to sleep but somehow I kept falling back to sleep ok. It got really cold out overnight. Looks like it will stay that way into early next week before it warms up some. We are supposed to get about an inch of snow tonight. Not much but should make everything look like Christmas tomorrow. Today I just have a regular work day and then some laundry to do. Still enjoying all the Christmas lights out there including my own tree. Looking forward to the NFL playoffs starting this weekend too. See January ain't all bad! Have a great day!

Yea, I definitely gotta say that becoming a member of this forum made the PCB's much easier to deal with. It was in the midst of a particularly deep post holiday season depression that I discovered this forum. And I'm really glad I did. For an internet community it is really something. It's the only place in my life, as I am sure it is for many others here, where I can truly and openly express my love for the holidays with people who are supportive of it and understand it. It's one thing to have someone be supportive of something in your life but still not really see it the way you do. To have people around who do both is amazing, and that's what we get here at MMC.
Couldn't agree more.

Merry Morning to all!!

Wow first week of January almost over :)

How are you guys doing? I hope you all are off to a great start to 2017 so far. I have so many little things I need to tell you all but time is just not on my side.

Thinking of you all

x
Hope you are doing well Festive. Doing fine over here. Hopefully time will stop getting away from you soon. Enjoy your day.
