Good morning MMC! Merry FRIDAY Eve!!! We are starting today with a sunny 22º outside! Brrrr! Supposed to get up to 50º today though - bring it on!! Tomorrow we are supposed to hit 70º!

I have another favor to ask ...my SIL's Mom is having a risky surgery this morning in Indy. I'm not exactly sure of her age, but I know she's mid 80's. Please keep Pat in your prayers. She's been through a lot these last several months.

Morning MMC peeps! Hope everyone is having a good week so far. Another day today and then we can start to think about the weekend ahead (at least we will be able to see it up close). Hard to believe we're heading right for the 1/4 marker this weekend. I think we better ask March why it's in such a rush this year. It's a cold morning but the local weather guy said last night this will most likely be the coldest morning we have until "late fall" which made me smile thinking that would be some time in late November/early December (few things we kinda like happen then). Have a great day!

Good morning Edge. Home from work, coffee at hand and now to catch up from lunchtime... Weather today here will hang near (but above) the freezing mark and then back into the 50's for the next few days. Three days of work ahead and then three off. Which means I can bust my butt on Monday of I choose and still have Tuesday to kick back.

And the Milestone, which we are now UNDER half a week away from, is the 1/4 point to Christmas Day 2017.

Well, the chilly weather has returned and a jacket was needed all day yesterday, with the same being true for today.
We have commenced this day before Weekend Eve at a below normal 35 degrees here in the capital city.


Say, that conga line got a little out of hand last night at the 'Pines, didn't it?
Who would have believed so many people would have followed Carl right into the swimming pool that way?
Oh, well. You just never know.

I haven't thought to mention here, but my brother and his fiancé are having a baby! She has had cancer in the recent past, and the doctors told her she wouldn't be able to get pregnant after the treatments, but she is. They went to the doctor who confirmed it, and said everything looked great. I'll be an uncle (by blood) in November!

Good for them! The doctors don't always know everything ... Baby had his/her own plan, regardless!

She has had cancer in the recent past, and the doctors told her she wouldn't be able to get pregnant after the treatments, but she is. They went to the doctor who confirmed it, and said everything looked great. I'll be an uncle (by blood) in November!

It's a little cooler today with a high in the 60's, but, like Edge said, we are told that this is probably the last cool spell till later in the year. Oh, well. A season for all things, but I wish we'd had a real winter LOL.

I think we're going to supper at mama's tonight.

wow, evening already, where did the day go ?
It has been a busy one for me. helping someone with cleaning, shopping, laundry, working on the first items for the cake competition (over 5,000 pieces to be made which is why I am starting already for a cake not due till November) good thing items made from sugar last for years when dried properly.
Well, I am going for a walk to get my energy back again.

They decided on a couple of day trips instead of an overnighter. So today we drove up to Southbend to the Southbend Chocolate Company and did the tour. Totally not worth the 3 hour drive each way but their mother talked them into it.

Then Friday we are going to the Cincinnati zoo if the weather stays good.

Oh yikes! Sorry it was a bit of a let down. The zoo will be FUN!! I haven't been there for years!! Safe travels!!! I think the weather is supposed to be good, just WINDY!!!

Well after 6 hours in a car with screaming and crying niece's and their mother, I'm exhausted and have a headache. Goodnight, MMC!!!!!!

Good evening,

It was a day off today, but it was just one of those days where I felt like I got hit by a truck. I woke up this morning watching TV the wind is gusting very strong, I run out to get the trash cans so they don't blow down the street. I come back in watch TV again and all of the sudden I roll over and it is after 11. I ran out to get the cans at 745. Didn't do much after that, just cleaned up and laundry.
Back to work in the morning.

I like it when I see references to the next 'Ber time. I got a job last week that had a requested delivery in October, and I smiled the rest of the day.

Oh yeah me too. And as the spring progresses and eventually we head into summer we'll be seeing those references all over the place. Even each month we put up the calendar on our wall at work I kind of smile as we go a month closer...we put up April last week and yet it feels like only yesterday we were putting up Nov/Dec and seeing our Thanksgiving and Christmas vacations to get excited for.
