Morning everyone,

Just wanted to check in and say we are okay. I know some of you will be thinking of me as you know where I'm from. The bombing wasn't all that far away from us.
We woke to the news this morning. My husband works nearby to the area but has bravely gone into to work as many can't make it in today. He said the streets are deathly quiet apart from the sound of the helicopters over head. I really just want him home.
My heart breaks for all who we have lost and the injured.
Take care and stay safe all.

It's going to be cloudy with highs around 70 degrees. I'll be heading out in a little bit to do some food shopping. Back home afterward to work on my daily chores. I have to run to the mall later this afternoon to pick up an engagement gift that I had engraved for my daughter and her fiancé. That's about it for me today. So glad you are safe. This is the first I'd heard of it (home from work, not feeling well)... more shocking, senseless violence. It's sickening that so many children were involved, and that some children are still missing.

Good Tuesday morning! It's going to be a perfect Summer-like day, sunny and warm. Getting rid of chores early so we can enjoy this day. We'll be going to my in-laws this morning to help with their garden. And then we'll finally get our own flowers for our pots on our balcony. I'm also hoping to be able to get our bikes out of storage. We actually haven't taken them out in a couple of years and I know hubby's had a problem that meeded fixing. Have a fantastic day everyone!

Morning Martine. I know the feeling. I have a bike that has been idle for the past couple of years as well and I am hoping to get it tuned-up and ready to ride later this year. Enjoy the time with your in-laws and of course the gardening...

Howdy MMC. Tuesday morning. Which means the start of another work week. Got up early so I will be able to get some sleep this afternoon. The new A/C is going in as I write and I'm hoping it will not keep me from getting my rest, but things are what they are.
Got some new flyers and posters for the Zoo. We have the opportunity to get a Koala exhibit for this year and of course want to announce it since they will have to return at the end of August.
Got the gutter and most of the yard done Sunday and Monday. I'll try to finish it over the next few days along with the deliveries. Ah, the fun never stops...
Time now for a little Bible study and to get those minor chores accomplished before the Sandman comes a calling. Have a wonderful day all...

Good morning MMC! I've been trying all morning to get on here but work beckoned!! I was off yesterday - what a beautiful day it was for planting flowers! I could have used today off too, but ah well!!

Hello and Happy Friday everyone. I hope you all have been good and staying on Santa's "Good" list. Wishing everyone here, good health, peace and happiness in your lives.

I've been pretty quiet, a bit somewhat secluded to the world and I have been doing a lot of revamping and making tremendous changes in my life.

I think about you all from time to time, wondering how everyone is doing and in general, just missing my favorite Christmas site on the internet. At one time, my life was very routine, where I could spend hours on the Internet and now a days, I am just one super busy fellow.

For a hint, I drive 3-4 hours a day, every day, just in my travel time, to and from work from where I live now. Things will change even more in July, when I get married! Whoops... did I just let something slip. Lol...

I have a new fur baby also, she's a 7 month old kitty, and she loves her "daddy"!

I have also been thinking, that in what, about 2 months, it will be Christmas in July already; how about that.

Well, I will check back in at a later date. If you want to reach out to me, PM me, and we can chit-chat for a bit. I hope to around a little bit more than I have been for the past year.

Hi there MMC community. Well the short work week has ended and after a brief nap, got the gutters cleaned out and fixed.
Still on the cool side here and with me trying to get in a few outdoor chores before tomorrow's rain, I feel that Arby's will be the solution to this evening's dining adventure. They have a limited edition Smoke Mountain Sandwich with the following... Onion strings, cheddar cheese, pork belly (thick smoked bacon), brisket and ham on a star bun with BBQ & Mayo. It is huge, but I have just got to try it with their loaded curly fries and the Ultimate Chocolate shake...

Good morning ~
I hope everyone had a nice weekend. My youngest graduated from a local community college yesterday. She will be transferring to a state university in the Fall to continue her education. Exciting stuff. Back to my regular routine today, typical day of errands and chores. I hope everyone is well and has a great week ahead!

Good afternoon .. Its a chilly wet day here... a good day for grill cheese and soup tonight which is quick and easy to make especially since I am to tired and sore to cook anything big. We spent the weekend doing a lot of yard work and getting the garden planted. It was hard work but it will be well worth it. Have a great day!!

NICE!!!! We only have our spring things in the garden so far. No tomatoes, peppers or corn yet.

Hope it stays dry for the parade. I am pulling the Toys for Tots float again this year. Gunna use my Razr and its the only time I hope I dont get in trouble for it..lol. Last year they were giving out tickets in the finish area for atv's. I heard they all got thrown out,and the Chief of police that had the brainstorm just got caught with a DUI at twice the limit..lol. Karma suxs

It stayed dry for the most part here yesterday, with only slight showers to dampen things a bit. More serious rain is predicted for today and the next couple, however.
We have started out this second day of the work week overcast after an overnight rain, at 68 degrees here in the capital city and more rain looks like it could start falling again at any moment.
