I didn't do much yesterday afternoon, but with my brother's wedding coming this weekend, I'm thinking that was my last easy evening this week. Originally, it was just going to be immediate family at the service, and would go off for the weekend. They've been together for 15 years, and she's pregnant, so there's no real reason for an extravagant wedding & honeymoon. Well now, it's a large ceremony and a huge reception with food, a band, and a large tent with a dance floor.

Oh well. I hope y'all have a great day! :D

Good morning MMC! Merry Pines Day! It's supposed to be a scorcher today! A good day to stay inside & watch CIJ! :D Might have to dig into the DVR! I didn't get to watch much CIJ last night - it was too nice outside. I couldn't make myself stay in. I ended up on moms deck with Mom, Emma, my sis & them my SIL walked over. Such a nice night!

Gracie's vet appointment went - just ok! We are normally in & out of there, but they were running about a half hour late to start with. Then the vet tech had to draw her blood twice b/c she didn't get enough the 1st time. She put a little bandage around her paw incase it would bleed - you should have seen Gracie. It was pathetic - she had her head down & her paw up - you would have thought she had a broken leg. We had to laugh! The vet was concerned about her weight loss/lack of interest in her food. She sent home some canned dog food to mix with her regular dog food to try to get her to eat more. Worked like a charm last night - fingers crossed. xx Then they almost forgot to take her urine sample. I had to remind them. The vet said "I thought I felt a full bladder" - Poor Grace! So now we wait for results. :confused: Praying she doesn't have an infection again.

Not much going on today - just work...and I'm pretty happy to be inside, even though I need a sweat shirt in here!!!

I agree - I'll take this over freezing cold too. We can pop Christmas on the tv & turn up the a/c if we need a cool off! I'm watching all the CIJ on tv I can!! Different World is a Christmas special, coming on in 15 minutes. I'm not really a "Different World" fan, but I am a Christmas fan so I'll watch! :D Have a great day!

Thanks Brad! When I got home for lunch she had thrown up! :( She wasn't acting like herself. I gave her Heartguard, as well as switching up her food last night, so I'm hoping it's just a short term reaction. Oh, she was also catching/eating lightening bugs last night too!! :eek: I'm hoping & praying after work I find no more messes & a crazy Grace! xx

Gracie has before too! Fingers crossed that's what it is!! I just didn't like how she was acting....she seemed sad! Maybe she felt guilty about throwing up! ;)
 
Morning MMC! Happy Friday Eve! Today is my Friday cause I'm off tomorrow for a 3 day weekend. Nothing too special planned for it tomorrow but I'll try to get some things done on Friday that I would normally do on Saturday to make more time to relax on the weekend. Today just another day at work before that and looks like a hot/humid day here. It was so cold in my building yesterday that when I walked in the chill hit me immediately and you'd almost think it was going to snow in the hallway. Crazy stuff. Have a great day!

And the Milestone we are on the eve of is the TWO-THIRDS point to Christmas Season 2017 and, as the "eve" implies, it will be here TOMORROW!
Yep. Tomorrow will be one of those ** MILESTONE DAYS ** we wait for so eagerly (and which frequently stimulates Carl into unusual states of experimental glee).


Wow is it ever hot and humid!
We had a heat index reading yesterday afternoon of 102 and the weather service says today and tomorrow will be just as bad if not worse.
(Needless to say, I got the required lawn mowing done yesterday morning before the worst of the H&H arrived!)
We are already at 80 degrees here this morning and the humidity just hits you like a warm, wet towel when you open the door.


But regardless of whatever weather challenge you may face today, try your best to have a Thrilling Thursday, OK?

Happy Friday Eve all!!
Just work for me today and I am going to try a bootcamp class tonight with a friend..I am sure I will be sore tomorrow!
The humidity is crazy outside but look like we may get down to 70 tomorrow with rain.
