Thank you!
We sat down and watched a Mrs. Brown’s Boys live stage show on DVD—-that helped! I hope my toe is better in the morning, because I want to browse through the garden center tomorrow. It’s my tradition to go the weekend before Thanksgiving. A good night’s rest should help.

Hope you’re feeling better this morning, enjoy your Sunday!!!

Good Sunday morning! Was up at 5am. But then again went to bed at 7pm last night...Got a couple of things done around the appartment already. Then it's our usual trip for groceries and then, we'll be putting up our tree! No outdoor lights yet, I have to return the ones I ordered from Amazon, just not what I was looking for. Can't wait to put on my Christmas music and start decorating! Have a wonderful day everyone!

Have fun decorating Martine! Sending hugs <3

Merry Sunday MMC!
We have showers here this morning and some gusty winds. Hopefully the winds will die down soon. Not too much going on here today, I’m just having a cup of coffee right now. I’m going to put a quiche in the oven soon. I need to run to Hallmark later for a couple of things. Other than that I will be working on the laundry. There’s another hockey game on later today so we’ll be watching that. Dinner will be pasta, meatballs & Italian sausage. That’s about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a beautiful day!

Morning MMC! The days are dwindling to the big Thanksgiving Day. I felt a little better Saturday but then last evening my head started burning up. I guess that this sickness is one of those where one day its your throat, then your nose, then your head. Well I'm hoping it continues to travel through my body these next 3-4 days and get the heck out by the time I wake up on Thanksgiving. Feel better so far today...and going to make sure I take a nap and relax this afternoon. Can anyone believe we're heading into Thanksgiving Week? I can't.

** CHRISTMAS SEASON DAY 7 **

Good Morning, Season Supporters and Blossoms Boosters (hint: let's get some more activity in the Blossoms thread, Guys. I just KNOW by now you have some Christmas-related photos in your cameras and phones all ready to share with our MMC residents!)

But, onward now with our remaining count:
Days to Thanksgiving: 4 (Barely over HALF A WEEK left!)
Days to Christmas Day: 36 (FIVE weeks from tomorrow!)

And can you believe that after today, we will have completed a FULL WEEK of Christmas Season 2017 already?
(Time sure slips away quickly around here.)

Pleasant here yesterday with highs in the 60's.
It will be a bit cooler today with our high topping out in the upper 50's. It should be dry, though.
We begin the second half of our first Season weekend at 51 degrees here in the heart of Panther country.

Have a Super Sunday, Everyone!

Hope you feel better soon, Edge. This is not a good time of the year to not feel you best!
(Of course, is there any good time?)

Thanks Crown! Enjoy your last weekend day before Thanksgiving!

Good Sunday morning everyone! Our temps were close to 60 yesterday with such strong winds and rain! Now it will barely be 40 today. Hoping to finish the outdoor decorations today in between football games. This week we also get our live tree so I am very excited about that! Dinner will be slow roasted bbq pork sandwiches and pan fried ravioli (a strange combo but for some reason that is all that is in the fridge today other than a huge turkey trying to defrost!) Hope everyone has a peaceful and relaxing Sunday!

Thanks Crown! I can't honestly remember the last time I was sick on Thanksgiving...so I'm hoping I get this out of my system by then.
Yeah, I've been lucky that way, too. I can only recall one Thanksgiving that I did not feel well.
Several times, though, I was sick in very early December.

Good morning!

Exciting things happened this weekend! We picked up our live tree yesterday. I woke up at 4 to let the dog out with every intention of going back to bed but ended up sitting by the tree enjoying the lights in the quiet house. It's beginning to feel like Christmas! We also bought a few more gifts and the Magic Light Wand I ordered came just in time to light up the tree! (If you haven't seen it, it's a wand that turns the lights on and off! The kids love it. Look it up!! I might even love it more than the kids! Haha!)

Update on the kitten and the live tree..
We didn't even have it in the living room yet and she was at the top! Lol!! At least she enjoys Christmas as much as I do. (The tree part anyway!)

I hope you all have an amazing Sunday! (Last one before Thanksgiving!)

She is just beautiful! We have two new kittens this year as well as three adult cats. I have four artificial trees up and so far they have caused minimal destruction to them courtesy of both a scat mat and air cans (Thank God for Amazon as those two items save my trees every year!). I am curious to see how the two new little ones will handle the live tree this week!

Yeah I've had close calls with Christmas being sick or just getting better in time...but not this close with Thanksgiving. Definitely feel I'm on the mend today...still got another 3 days to get to 100% hopefully.

Hello everyone! I honestly hope you are all doing well. :} It's been a while since I spent some quality time reading MMC posts and getting my personal dose of encouragement (I apologize if it sounds selfish but this is exactly how I feel visiting MMC). ^^

I'm nearly done with a first semester at the university which is crazy! Honestly, I don't know where did the time go. The semester though has been a lot of things: confusing, challenging, interesting, very busy (!), but rewarding overall. :) The thing that makes me the happiest is people I have met so far and friendships I have began to build that will hopefully last a lifetime. It may sound like a cliché to some people but for me it's a general truth. :) The teaching period for my master's course is over and I now have three exams left to sit. I will be all finished on 8th December which for me is super early. After that, I will be off until around mid January. I'm not going to Lithuania for Christmas, but instead I plan on working on planning my master thesis, studying Norwegian (I wasn't able to dedicate some serious effort to language learning so far which I feel very sad about and disappointed in) and perhaps reading some fiction (I'm really missing a non-academic read).

Sorry for a long post. I'm always very wordy. Why am I always so wordy? :p

My first exam is on Monday, so I hope for some inspiration to get some qualitative studying done over the weekend.

I wish everyone to enjoy the rest of November. Stay warm, merry, and drink a lot of chai lattes. ;)

Best wishes!
I am really happy to see you here and hear that things are going well for you Victoria. I wish you the very best with your studies and future endeavours.

Good luck with your exam today. You'll ace it I'm sure !
