Good morning MMC! Merry Tuesday! It's another beautiful sunshiny day with a high of 60º predicted. Crazy weather! Sure doesn't make it feel like the holiday season!

I got a few more Christmas decs up last night, but wish I would have got more done. The CMA Country Christmas had me sucked in though. I always love that show! I did take a drive around town - there is a WOW house all decked out about a half mile from us. They really went all out. I can't wait to drive by again! So pretty!!!

Not much going on today besides work! Hopefully tonight I'll get some more decorations up. Need to get my house ready for Candy Day!!!

I ordered a couple of the Echo Dots for the kids. Each came with an electrical outlet plug, so you can say, "Alexa, turn on the lamp". That should be a lot of fun, assuming it all works.

I like the idea of telling it to set an alarm, or to look up something on the internet.

I ordered my daughter an Echo dot too..

Drove home from work and wow what a show with all the Christmas lights out now. Such a big difference Thanksgiving Week makes...and now my drives home are a lot more fun and slower so I can take it all in.

I have been taking the long way home to see all the new lights...so exciting to see new houses all lit up.

Happy Tuesday!
Well I didn’t get to do much Cyber Monday shopping yesterday. My oldest had off from work so we ended up going wedding dress shopping. She finally found a dress! I’m so happy and excited for her. She started crying the minute she put it on, she knew right away it was the one. I feel so blessed that I was able to be with her yesterday, it was very a very special moment!
So I don’t have too much going on today. I woke up early and tidied up the house, ran the dishwasher and started laundry so far. I have a couple of errands to run, then back home to work on some more chores around the house. Dinner will be tacos. I guess that’s about it for me.

Happy Tuesday!! I was off yesterday and I will be off on Friday.I have 4 day work weeks for the rest of the year because I had some extra PTO time to use. I will probably wrap on Friday. I caught my youngest daughter snooping around my room a bit...lol.
It is so nice to see all the houses lit up for Christmas. We have everything decorated and I love having all the Christmas lights on in the room.

Greetings gang. Sorry I have not been on much, but I have been to the wall getting everything done prior to the vacation my wife and I are going on next month. Among other things, trying to tie the outside into separate timers so that my daughter won't have to worry about throwing the switch.
Outside is done, inside is at 95%, 80% of the shopping is finished, so with those two small percentages to go, I can concentrate on cards and wrapping.
My time off has ended, so this will be the beginning of my work week and then... vacation. I trust you are all doing well and I hope to be able to catch up on all the posts as this week goes by.
For now... Happy Tuesday and have a great final week of November...

Well, we are close to putting Monday to bed. I started out my morning today with snow flurries coming down as I was driving to and into work. It was really nice to watch it come down. It just gets me aching for snow, especially around this time of year. It just looks so beautiful, almost magical, as it falls from the heavens above. Wouldn't be wonderful to have a truly White Christmas this year? Here we are, this week being the first of December and have as of to date, hardly any winter weather at all come our way. My goodness, they are talking on the weather channel that 50 degree+ temperatures will be with us for most of the week.

With these warm temps it's hard to imagine a white Christmas, but I'm still hoping for one!! xx

Good Tuesday morning! Still trying to recuperate from our work Christmas party Sunday. It was a big success, lots of fun and happy people all around. Now we'll be planning a Christmas meal for December 22nd as we still have funds leftover. And I'm thinking of doing something on December 31st to bring in the New Year for the employees working that day. Hope everyone will have a great day!

Morning MMC! Tonight is Rudolph so turn your t.v. into that. I love when it comes on television. Just a big sign of Christmas coming. Driving home last night was amazing with all the lights. Just another reason to love this time of year so much. Makes a Christmas lover drive slowly. Have a great Tuesday!

And voyaging we are, right on into the heart of Christmas Season 2017.

But the Christmas Day count goes on without interruption:
Days to Christmas Day: 27 (UNDER FOUR WEEKS remain, now!)
(Better got those holiday plans moved into high gear. And not all that much time left to get in those Christmas movies and music albums!)


Pretty decent here weather-wise yesterday, with highs in the 60's.
A repeat is predicted for today before it turns just slightly cooler toward the end of the week.
Our current temperature? A still-frosty 34 degrees, but it comes with calm, sunny skies.

Mama has hired the annual crew to shake the pecan trees and gather & bag the pecans, so I'll be taking them to the market for her today.

Finally!

Not much time to talk... we arrived home from Pittsburgh yesterday at about 11. I slept from noon until almost 4pm. I guess I really needed to catch up on sleep? Although the Packers lost on a last second field goal, the city of Pittsburgh now has a wonderful place in my heart. Everyone there was super friendly. The food was always delicious, and the city itself is beautiful.

I saw and photographed a few Christmas sightings. I'll share them in the Blossoms thread shortly. I only have three more sleeps to re-charge before Kim and I fly to NYC for our first Big Apple Christmas Experience... and Kim's first time in NYC! It's going to be magical. I think we might be able to find a few sights to photograph and share there...

I hope everyone has been enjoying their Christmas Season. So hard to believe that we're almost ready to ring in December!
