Good Morning, Folks!

This is the first day of the rest of Christmas Season 2017.
Make the most of it!
And the best way to start doing that is to review and understand the daily count.

As such:
Days to Christmas Day: 18 (Barely over 2 1/2 weeks remain!)
(Starting to close in, now!)


Well, the unseasonably warm weather is but a memory now, as chilly temps and a drizzly rain has settled in. And it will only get more inclement as the possibility of frozen precipitation approaches for tomorrow night.
Currently, we are at 43 degrees here and "it's beginning to look alot like rain, now".

Good morning MMC!! Merry Friday Eve!! Brrrrr, it's cold outside!!! When I looked at the phone this morning there was a weather message saying "brief snow shower to begin around 5:45 am" - I didn't see any snow, but it was fun to see that in the forecast! We have a 60% chance on Saturday. xx

Just a normal work day for me today. Tonight we are going Christmas house hopping ~ Girls Night Out! Looking forward to it, but it's supposed to be so cold ~ a night at home with Christmas lights & a good movie doesn't sound all bad either. But it's ok ~ this is already planned!

Had a nice time with the lake girls at the Mexican restaurant last night. It's always nice to catch up with them! Food was delicious too!

@Bradmac I saw yesterday that Amazon has the Echo for $79 again...yep, I grabbed one, along with the smart plug! You created a monster. Ha ha!! Not sure if I'm keeping it, or if it will be a gift. I'm thinking about ordering another Dot as a gift though. Geez! And it would also be a great gift for our family white elephant exchange.
I also noticed last night I could add a Christmas Countdown to my daily briefing. So now the 1st thing she says when I ask for my briefing is "From the North Pole, there are 18 days until Santa comes to visit" LOVE IT!!

Hello everyone. Work has been keeping me ridiculously busy! That’s about to change as we are launching a new project. Once it’s up and running, things will slow down and I’ll have more time here, my favorite spot on the web!

This is amazing ... some of our younger employees have started a Christmas decoration contest in the office. Over on the "other side" (roughly speaking, there are two "wings" on either side of the kitchen area) a 7-1/2-foot tree with white lights has just gone up ... so "our side" has gotten out the 7-footer with white lights we've been displaying for a few years now. It's great to see the Christmas spirit breaking out in this way!

How fun!!! Hope you all enjoy!!! Sounds festive!

We got snow last night!!!
Not a lot but enough to make everything white and sparkly it looks great.
Well it’s time for me to get off into work and wish you all a very Merry day.

Morning MMC! Well on my day off Wednesday I did go to the mall and got some a few gifts. I didn't quite finish but I'm very close. Will put the finishing touches on that and commence wrapping this weekend. Definitely nice to have off in the middle of the week for a change although I was pretty busy so I didn't get to rest too much. Hope you all enjoy your Friday EVE!

Happy Thursday!
Its going to be sunny today with a high of 45 degrees. I'll be heading to the mall later this morning to do some shopping, I'll be looking for a dress to wear on Christmas. My husband and will be attending a party this weekend, we have to wear a Christmas themed outfit/costume. I'll probably stop at Party City while I'm out to see if I can find something cute. Other than that I will be working on my daily chores. That's about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day!

Nancy's niece asked me to take some pictures of her and her kids for their Christmas cards when I got off work. After that, my sister-in-law asked me to help her order another computer for her office. Then Nancy and I went to her mom's to make sure her medicine was correct, and wound up eating supper.

I love my in-laws, but I had a bag of Hot Fries at home that was calling to me all afternoon! Doggone it.

How fun!!! Hope you all enjoy!!! Sounds festive!

This morning I brought in some tinsel garland and some ornaments that I wasn't using. I hung the garland and put the ornaments in a big bowl so people can wander by and pick something out to hang up. (They're not getting the idea, though ... they just say "Oh, that looks nice!") I also added one of those extension cords with a foot switch to make it easier for anyone to deal with turning the lights on and off. It's looking like Christmas around here!
