Greetings, MMC!

Hope you're all doing well~

We are doing pretty good, enjoying the winter weather in Northern Wisconsin =]

Things continue to be busy on our end.
We have filled a position at work, but one of my bosses recently had surgery and is out for a few months, so not much slowing down in the future.

Harlowe is still having health issues, fingers crossed she gets relief soon.
We are going to try her dental surgery again next month. A bit worried about that but know it's very important for her.

My FIL is still struggling, but we are grateful for his good days.

Adi has been traveling a lot for work, but he is home now so trying to spend as much time as possible with him before he has to leave again.

I keep in touch and updated through messages & e-mails. You all remain in my thoughts & prayers daily.
Sending hugs!

Peace & blessings ❤
Always a pleasure to see you on the board snowflake22 :) Hope Harlowe gets a break from her health issues, sweet little thing. And hope you find some help at work to cover for your boss. Keeping you and your family in my thoughts. Hugs from Loki and me.

Good evening,

A late night here, just popping in to say my daily hello.

I will try to get caught up tomorrow.
Goodnight, everyone

Morning MMC! Happy Rudolph Day #1. Hard to believe already isn't it? The house down my block still has their outside tree lit. I really appreciate it now because there's very few that have anything lit outside anymore. My tree will come down this weekend so I still have a few more days to enjoy it. Looks like we are going to have a couple of nice days after all the rain we got. Last night I took Rollins out and almost fell because there was heavy sleet falling. It got very icy but now it's fine out there. Have a great Wednesday and Rudolph Day!

I really hope things slow down for you Snowflake.
I'm always praying for guys ~
Sending lots of love and big hugs across the miles <3
xx
Thanks much, HmG~
Always praying for you guys too ❤
Hugs & love being sent back your way!
xx

@HmG, praying your daughter is better. xx

Good Morning, Super Season Supporters Safely Sailing Serenely Skyward.

And the sky's the limit for our amazement at the approaching proximity of 2017 Milestone marker number two!

Days to the Season: 292
Days to Christmas Day: 334

That looming marker, believe it or not at your will, is none other than the ONE QUARTER point to our long-awaited and much-coveted Christmas Season.
And wonders of wonders, we are now barely over 2 1/2 weeks away from said destination.
(Wow!)

Still the delightfully unseasonably warm weather. One more day before winter starts to let us know it is still very much here.
Currently, we perceive 41.1 degrees on our digital back door temperature recorder under calm, sunny skies and we are headed for a high close to 70 by this afternoon.

The Shispering Pines? It's open.
Carl? He's ready at the front door.
The fired twinkies? Hot out of the oven and freshly frosted.
The southern iced tea? Sweetened to perfection.
The entertainment? Well.....you'll need to come to judge that for yourselves.
Hope to see you there.

Pending that, you have a Wonderful Wednesday, Folks!

Good Wednesday morning, Christmas friends!

It's amazing how quickly the weather can change. All last weekend was stormy and scary, but yesterday and today, the skies are blue and the air has a nip in it. Thank goodness!

I think I'm going to the auction with my brother this Friday night. He keeps finding killer deals, and then showing me pictures of them. No more! It's time to get a killer deal for myself! Actually, he gave me one of the awesome smokers that he got there, when he could have sold one for a profit. What a thoughtful little brother!

I hope y'all have a great day!

Happy Rudolph Day!

This story is long overdo but can't think of a better place to share this.

A few days before the Thanksgiving holiday I had a biopsy. The whole Thanksgiving holiday was overshadowed by fear and worry not knowing what the results were going to be. That Monday after Thanksgiving I get the diagnosis that I have breast cancer, not knowing anything else, no clue how far along, etc. I sunk to an all time low and could barely get out of bed for 2 days, not like me at all! I am usually an optimistic person. Also, through Thanksgiving and right after that I am all Christmas mode, well that wasn't going on with me either and people noticed. After staying sad for a couple of days my dad calls and ask if I want to go to Hobby Lobby. I asked what did he need there because he only goes when he needs supplies for models he builds. He said, "nothing, just thought we could go look around". Hmm... Odd, then I told my husband that I think he is trying to get me out to look at Christmas stuff to cheer me up! My dad is so sweet!!! I went with him and it sorta helped but I still worried. A few days later I finally go to the doctor to find out it was caught very early and the prognosis looks good. Hubby and I were so excited by the news that I text my daughter from the doctor's office and told her to call her grandparents (my mom and dad). My dad responded, "oh good, maybe she will get her Christmas spirit back"! Everyone knows how much I love Christmas and worry like crazy if it's not on my mind. :)

Good Wednesday morning! Well yesterday's "big storm" turned into a morning of freezing rain, followed by a couple of hours of big fluffy snow and then nothing. It will remain mild for a few days and then Winter temperatures are coming back. I'm working the afternoon/evening shift again, giving more training again. Not as much fun when one has a cold. Looking forward to a long weekend starting Friday. Have a great day everyone!

That is so wonderful, Sheila! Cancer is such a scary word, but there have been so many improvements in treatment these days. I'm so glad your surgery was successful, and you have a great prognosis! :D

And your dad sounds like a great guy!:)

Good to see you! Happy Birthday to your mom! Your mom sounds like my mom, full of energy and can out walk everyone! I tell everyone, "when I grow up I want to be just like my mom". He he! Good for your mom for being so youthful!

Have fun at the auction!

Went to Walmart for cough drops and came home with a pressure cooker. Darn them and their displays.

Did you ever get the cough drops? Lol!

Merry Tuesday!

Relaxing a bit before I do a few chores. Then I am going to finish the book I am currently reading and if I'm not sleepy, start a new one. Great way to spend a rainy evening. :)

Be safe and merry!

Enjoy your day!
