Thank you so much everyone, I really appreciate the positive thoughts and prayers. I went for my physical, found out I'm anemic. I guess that explains why I have these symptoms. I'll probably have to go for further testing to find out what's causing the anemia. Just waiting on additional blood work results before we take the next step. No word on my daughters results yet. I will definitely keep everyone posted.

Mom is scheduled to come home Saturday morning. Praying there are no more set backs & she doesn't have any more issues at home either!! xx It's time to get her home!!

I'm not sure about liver & onions either! Our neighbor is a nurse & she always tells people who are on the verge of being anemic but they want to donate blood to eat liver & onions the night before they go to give. Not sure I could do it!

Lol...Its gotta be bad for you. But its so good!! To this day my grandpa cant even smell Spam without being sick. He had to eat so much of it during WW2 it lasted him all these years.

Not sure if I have ever seen it. Although I don't generally look in the Spam isle! Ha ha!! It's one of them things - either ya love it or it makes ya say I say if you enjoy it - go for it!!

Good morning ~
It's going to be a nice day, partly sunny & mild with highs near 50 degrees. Not too much going on here, I just took Maggie for a walk. I'm going to take a ride to the supermarket soon to pick up a few things, I'm making the girls tacos for dinner. My husband and I are going to grab something out, we're heading in to Brooklyn tonight to see the Islander game. My daughter gave us a pair of tickets for Christmas. We'll be sitting in the 10th row up from the ice, never sat that close before. Looking forward to it, should be a fun night. That's about it for me. Hope everyone is well and has a wonderful day <3

Good Morning, MMC!!! It's going to be another rainy here. That will be 10 days in a row that we have had rain and I don't even remember what the sun looks like. Not to much going on here today. I'll just be praying for CAH as she goes in for surgery. Might run to the grocery store too. I hope everyone is having a great day!!

Well as soon as I talked they were like "Why are you here?" lol...but I have a lot of work to do and if I'm not here they will have to do it. I've worked a little OT this week so I'm just going to cut out a little early and rest (if Rollins lets me).

Speaking of...do you still see any lights left Merry? I see a few still and I'm hanging on to those few as long as they allow me to.

VERY few. There's a gated house on my way home that has multicolor lights on trees outside the gate, and those are still there (always so beautiful!). A few white lights, icicle lights, and window candles still up on the commute home from work. On our street, the last hurrah was last weekend, when the house across from us lit up its Christmas lights last Saturday night during the NFL playoff game. Since then, nothing.

That's okay. Time to let the lights rest and store up magic for the coming season. But I still smile when I see some on.

I am also anemic...I was diagnosed a few months ago. I have been taking Slow Fe, an iron supplement and it has helped me so much. Good Luck! Have fun at the game tonight, HMG!

A better day here, my youngest was a lot better, he went to school with no problems. My oldest stayed home sick. Just to let you know, my youngest has been diagnosed with an anxiety disorder, and we started him on a medication that he had a very bad reaction to. It was scary, his highs he would peak be full of life and laughs, then 2 minutes later he would crater. He would just stare off and grunt, and we couldn't get him to move, and when he would talk it was scary what he was saying. We pulled him off the meds yesterday because of the stuff going on. He only had one mild meltdown today, and I think it was because he has a crush on the dental hygienist. He was too nervous to do all that she needed him to do, and he melted down when it was his brothers turn. The hygienist let him finish after his brother was done.

My scheduled day off tomorrow, I am planning to take down the trees.

I was going to take down my tree this weekend but I just ordered a new storage bag so I have to wait until that comes in. I may do the ornaments though..

Morning MMC! People at work told me I should have stayed home yesterday but I made it through. I slept pretty good and feel at least a little better this morning (so far). I still am sick but if I went in yesterday then I definitely am going in today. I was thinking of maybe leaving an hour early to get home and rest a bit. I may tell my boss that. She knows I'm sick anyways and I haven't called in sick to work in 3 and a half years. I guess that I should have ended that streak yesterday but I didn't so here I go again to work. Other than that everything here is ok and I hope it is by you. Anyone still seeing any lights out?

Hope you feel better Edge!! Yes I am still seeing lights...same ones on my road are lit up. Although I did notice my neighbor turned off his window candles but his big outside wreath is still lit up.

It has been pretty dreary here in CT too. They are talking about a pretty big rain storm Monday-Wed with strong winds but I guess it is better than snow..lol

Good morning MMC...We had some scary news on my road the other day. A bobcat attacked a beagle in the middle of the day. The owner was able to get him away bit unfortunately the bobcat tested positive for rabies so the dog has to be quarantined for a few days even though he is vaccinated and the owner needs to go for the rabies vaccinations.
I am definitely keeping a close eye on Leo when he goes out. He is usually with Andre, he is a big boxer @ 90lbs so I know he would bark like crazy if anything came into the yard.
Just working today and catching up on laundry.
Almost Friday..yay!!

Yeah makes you appreciate those "last few." Time to take them down for about 300 days before they go back up again (which I know will scarily come faster than any of us imagine right now).

Oh that freaks me out! How scary!!! There have been some reports of people seeing a mountain lion in our area since last spring. I never let Gracie out w/o thinking about that. Creepy!!! Praying the dog & the owner will be ok. And praying Leo & Andre (and everyone) stay safe!!! xx

We are having a tough time. I hadn't told you guys yet but we found out over the holidays that we are expecting a baby. We hadn't told anyone yet except for my mum. So I really needed to let this out.

I have been having complications this week and the prospects are not good. My heart is breaking and the sadness is unbearable. Please pray for me. We have been given a thin thread of hope. Trying to hold on to that and praying for a miracle. Sorry to come here with this but I feel like it is too much to bear. I am so weak. can't bear the sadness.
