Christmas Countdown - 2017

Good Morning, MMC!!! It's going to be cold here today but I won't let that stop me. I'm still trying to catch up from having my niece earlier this week. She is still coughing some but made it through school yesterday. I have several more errands to run today. I'm giving that new car quite the workout and it's handling it like a pro. The only thing that I don't like about it is, the headlights aren't automatic. I mean, its been 19 years since I've had to turn on my own headlights. Talk about feeling like I'm back in the stone age. Lol!!! I hope everyone is having a great day!!!

Headlights are automatic? What will they think of next... lol. I always turn mine on and off, ever since the day my wife's car did not extinguish them and she wound up with a dead battery. But then, as sad as it may sound, new age technology has never really impressed me. Just something else to go wrong and carries a very high price tag to fix.

So happy it's Friday. It's been quite the week (and it isn't quite over yet!). I hope by some miracle the workday goes easily and not too late, but this has been the week of last-minute demands and unexpected revisions. The weekend will be a little busy, but at least it will be a weekend!

All is well! The doctor didn't even have to do the biopsy. Apparently there is a portion of the esophagus that can mimic a thyroid lesion. The second sonogram showed that everything is normal. I'm so relieved. Thanks again for the prayers, you guys are the best <3

Happy Friday All!! Not too much planned at all this weekend. My Dad is coming over tomorrow for lunch and cake for his birthday (it is on the 7th). Not sure if we are going to cook lunch or probably just get pizza...
On Sunday we are headed to our friend's house for a Super Bowl Party and I just need to bring my Buffalo Chicken Dip so that is easy enough.

Carolina seems to be much better today. Thank you for all the prayers and well wishes for her.
Tomorrow is dress shopping for bridesmaid dresses for my best friends wedding. I had already decided not to bring Carolina along and made sure Mike didn't mind if he had her while I was shopping. He other 2 bridesmaids are bringing there 3 year olds with them. I am not sure how they will be able to try on dresses and mind their toddlers at the same time.

Well, good Saturday morning to all the MMC community. Looks like myself and Martine are the only ones up at the moment. That's cool. It's the weekend. Sleep in if you can. Christmas is finally put away here and just a couple of minor touches left for a very relaxing Sunday (hopefully).
I've stayed away from all the hype surrounding the game. For me it does not matter what they say on Friday or Saturday, it is what they do on Sunday. I am continuing my journey through the various Churches and today will be attending another different one.
Other than that, I do not anticipate much going on. I hope you all enjoy a fabulous weekend filled with fun and time to kick back...

Merry Saturday!
It's going to be a sunny day with a high of 34, we're currently at 22 degrees. I'm just having my coffee and relaxing for a few minutes before everyone starts to wake up. I have to make a big food shopping trip later this morning. I'm going to the supermarket and butcher after my husband and the girls leave for work. Other than that I will be working on my daily chores. Date night tonight, my hubby and I are going to our favorite Italian restaurant

Happy Saturday! Another weekend has arrived. I'm hoping to enjoy this big weekend as the BIG game is tomorrow! I am off till Tuesday and love these 3 day weekends. Looks like a cold but sunny Saturday. They are saying rain Tuesday/Wednesday with temps rising into the 40s and 50s before it chills down again late next week. Got to say it has not been a bad winter at all. No extreme cold or extreme snow. I can handle some normal cold and some shots of snow as long as they are manageable and this winter has certainly been that thus far.

Morning HMG. High of 34? Must be nice to be in the warm weather portion of the country... lol. Ours will be a high of 24 (which is also where it currently is). Been up since just before 4AM. Finishing up my half pot of coffee and getting a few things done before I really begin my day. I will make a last scan to see if I have everything I need for tomorrow and if I do, then church service will be the only thing I go out for today. The wife and I have a few TV shows we enjoy together and this seems like a good day to catch up on them. Have fun on your date and a nice weekend...

Yes, just not recently!
I DO have leisure time on the weekend when I get through my to-do list. Today is car service, weekly bookkeeping, collecting info so I can fill out the worksheet for our tax lady, household stuff, and laundry. Maybe a car wash and a trip to the store for some yarn. Tomorrow should be slower. What I consider a "busy" weekend I'm sure most people would take in stride.
