Christmas Countdown - 2017

Well gang, it is Tuesday and that means the start of another work week for me. Had a nice Bible study this morning at 6AM over at one of the many BK establishments and now I'll get a few things taken care of before hitting the sack and trying to get in a few hours before my 10PM start. The weather today will remain on the cold side until our rebound on Thursday.
Tomorrow after I get off, I'll have our automotive guys look at my passenger tires (both) as they seem to be losing air slowly. Then over to my former Disney Store Manager's home for coffee (we like to keep in touch). Beyond that no real vital plans.
Everyone in the storms path... be safe. Great time for a Christmas style movie, soda (or hot chocolate) and some popcorn. Have a fun Tuesday...

Love that!
I found a desktop wallpaper that is a fireplace video, and I use it at the office. I got quite a few double-takes from people who hadn't seen video wallpaper before! On especially cold days I get quite a few comments on it!

Well our storm storm started off as Snow then switched to sleets and freezing rain. My job closed and kids schools were closed, DH called out of work since many of the back streets were ice covered and we have to take those back streets to get to the main road. We lost power for about an hour earlier so we spent that time playing a board game with the kids. Going to spend the rest of today at home.

Fun! Now you need to slip it into place on one of those 90 degree days and see how people respond...
 
Ugh ... between the wind and the pasty consistency of the snow, it periodically sounds like the house is being pelted with snowballs. A couple more hours, and we should be through the worst of it.
 
Well, I got a call from the vet about Gracie's results. She left a message on the machine. They are going to up her dose of Benazepril - right now she takes 1/2 a pill in the morning, they are upping it to 1/2 in the morning & another 1/2 in the evening. She didn't say why. BUT she did tell me a long time ago that it would probably eventually be increased. I'm assuming the protein level in her urine was too high. DARNIT!!! I just keep hoping for a miracle..."everything looks great, we can REDUCE her medicine..." Doesn't sound like that's going to happen! I'm a little bummed! But as long as my Gracie girl is happy & ornery, we'll do what we need to do!!

Sorry to hear that you need to up her meds! But as long as she is still a happy girl that is all that matters!
