Thanks SFM! We'll find out! It's called "Patty Melt With Secret Sauce" (Mayo, Dijon Mustard, BBQ Sauce, & hot sauce is the "secret") The patty has ground beef, Worcestershire, Kosher Salt, Pepper - then you add sautéed onion & cheese to the sandwich. The picture looks amazing.

Good evening, Christmas friends! First day of Spring saw us hit 83 degrees. Someone got a little too much sun and got burned.

First day of spring break was fabulous. Got to spend some time in the garage and then went to the school and did some mowing and weed eating. Will do more tomorrow...going to be another nice day.

Big news...I got a promotion. I was named the superintendent of our school district last Monday. At the beginning of next week, I have to go out of town for some training. The good news is that when I go on the road, I will get to spend some down time looking at Christmas stuff!!!!

It's supposed to be 87°F today! I know it's Springtime, but I was hoping for a gradual decline into hot weather. I guess it'll be in the upper 90's before we know it.

We're heading out for lunch to celebrate a coworker's birthday. I hope y'all have a great day!

So I went home for lunch - it's GORGEOUS outside!!! Took Gracie for a short walk - had to take off my light jacket. I was comfy in short sleeves! What do them weathermen know?? Cloudy all day? - HA! (not complaining!) Although tonight we have a low of 23 & tomorrow the high is only supposed to be 35... today is a tease!!! I guess I'll just enjoy it!

Is she making the No-Knead style? I have tried it and just cant seem to get it to come out. Its so simple to make but the end product eludes me. It either only rises 1/2 way in the dutch oven and remains dense and tasteless or it doesnt rise at all.

Good Afternoon MMC !!

It is beautiful sunny first full day of spring here in southern Ontario. i am really enjoying this wonderful sunshine. Only worked this morning so it is nice to get to enjoy this afternoon.
Baking some bread, catching up here and watching some netflix.

There, bread is now in pans for final rising. This bread has some oat flour in it, I have never baked with this but it smells good, so will see how it tastes in bread.

I want to also paint a ceramic ornament for my back yard. This is a couple of birds on a mailbox all decorated for Christmas, complete with gifts inside. I can put a light in it so it will be nice in the evening. Will remind me of this place when it gets hot outside !

Happy Tuesday!
Not too much going on here. I'm heading out in a little bit, I need to do some food shopping. Other than that I will be working on the laundry and some other chores around the house. I ended up having to take my daughter back to the oral surgeon yesterday. She has been in so much pain since having her wisdom teeth removed last week. They think the pain was from a dry socket. I didn't even know what that was. The poor thing is exhausted from the pain, I don't know how she's been going to work. The doctor put some kind of paste on the area and sent her home with it so she can do it herself. She feels better than she was so I'm praying she's on the mend now. Can't wait until she's back to 100%. Anyway, I hope everyone is doing well. Wishing all of you a wonderful day!

Praying your daughter feels better soon. I have had nieces/nephews/friends who have had that problem with a dry socket - they say it is very painful. Hopefully she's on the right track now! xx

Good morning HMG. Praying your daughter heals quickly. It is always tough on parents when they see one of their children (regardless of age) going though a rough time and knowing there isn't really anyway for them to stop it. Beyond that, have a good day as I see your will be busy for awhile.
