Morning MMC! Happy Pines Day again! Definitely didn't feel any headache or tired on Tuesday which was good. Another day at work today and then a relaxing evening at home. I can see the grass (partially) after a warm spring Tuesday. Unfortunately it's going to be back below normal for a couple of days now before a beautiful Saturday being predicted. Hope everyone has a great mid-week!

Happy Pines Day!
It's going to be sunny but windy and cold today. Not too much going on here. I've been up for awhile. My middle daughter finished orientation & training at the hospital, today is her first real day of work. Hope it goes smoothly. Typical day for me, I have to run a couple of errands and I'll be working on my daily chores. My mother is coming over to visit later this afternoon. That's about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a great day!

Morning all!! Woke up to another inch of fresh snow and the forecast is looking like rain for a week straight. Creeks are full, still snow everywhere, add the rain we get.....

It is a very chilly morning here, opposite of yesterdays promise of spring. Even had a dusting of snow last night!!

It is my day off. Have some errands to run but otherwise staying home and getting a few things done here.

Well, it almost seemed yesterday that we moved directly from winter to summer, skipping spring entirely. Lots and lots of sun and temperatures near 80 degrees. No precipitation, too.
Great!
Today will see us back down to cooler temps. We have started things off at 55 degrees here and are not predicted to leave the 50's all day.

I think a conga line is planned with little doubt as to who will be leading it.

Good Wednesday morning! So late last evening, we got a call from our store manager letting us know that our company's vice president would be dropping by this morning. Needless to say my colleague and I scrambled to make sure everything would be fine for her visit. I just love seeing employees kick it up a notch and show all that they can do and make a real difference. I'm working the afternoon/evening shift again, I can't wait to hear how it went this morning. Other than that, it's a very cold but sunny morning here and we got a dusting of snow overnight. Enjoy your day everyone!

We're expecting blustery weather with the temps falling into the 30s. Oh, joy. But I think that will improve on Friday. I've had enough of winter, even though it wasn't terribly severe this year. I just want to get back to spring and summer.

It's always interesting to watch folks (myself included) really do their best when company dignitaries show up. How awesome would our plant be if we always worked like we do when the VPs drive up!

Good Afternoon MMC !!

It is beautiful sunny first full day of spring here in southern Ontario. i am really enjoying this wonderful sunshine. Only worked this morning so it is nice to get to enjoy this afternoon.
Baking some bread, catching up here and watching some netflix.

There, bread is now in pans for final rising. This bread has some oat flour in it, I have never baked with this but it smells good, so will see how it tastes in bread.

I want to also paint a ceramic ornament for my back yard. This is a couple of birds on a mailbox all decorated for Christmas, complete with gifts inside. I can put a light in it so it will be nice in the evening. Will remind me of this place when it gets hot outside !

Greetings to my friend up north Christmasstar. So was it just a regular loaf of bread or was it something special? The craft sounds very cool indeed. You will have to post a photo of it when it is completed (maybe with the candle lit).

Good morning MMC! Merry Pines Day!!! We have started the day with a bright & sunny/breezy 22º! Brrrrr! But it sure looks pretty - looking out the window!

My homemade bread turned out pretty good last night. I will do it a little different the next time, but all in all, it was tasty! The new patty melt recipe was good too though Jim says I can back off the Dijon mustard the next time! I heard him tell Gracie it was scrumptious!!

If you could say a prayer for my friend Roxanne today, I would appreciate it. She goes in for a cancer scan in Columbus today. She had a double mastectomy a few weeks ago & then didn't get the results she was hoping for. She sure could use some MMC prayers! Thanks!

Good Morning HMG. What would we do without those "typical" days? Probably wonder what we forgot to do
Glad to hear your daughter is gearing up for the wide world of 9-5. I'll never forget the beginning and thinking of how long I had to go before I could even think of retirement and now it is only a few short years away. Where does the time go?

I totally agree. For example last night, I gave an employee the mission of replenishing and sprucing up our feature presentations leading her department. Recently she hasn't shown much interest and energy in her work but last night, she did a terrific job and I made sure to let her know. She can do it, we just question whether she wants to do it on a daily basis.
