Look what the Easter Bunny brought early!
Sqweee! Hopefully I'll get mine today or tomorrow!
Note to self: "Go to Hallmark Store this weekend!"
Yay!! That just made me all excited seeing that!
Its weird because this place is like a oven in the summer. Once the AC is turned on..its rare it gets shut off till late fall.I was glad to read this morning that your temps are more bearable & you made it through the night!! That's warm in the house already for only being early-ish April!!
Have a great day!
Only if I ever tell the story about my guys once bragging up these sandwiches they ate in Baghdad. When I asked what was in it, only because they brought me one... one said "I think he called it 'jamal' Gunny"Should Carl feel insulted?
We usually pretty much go straight from heat to AC....then straight from AC to heat! I had some of the windows open yesterday b/c it was warm in our house. Then it cooled off outside & when Gracie & I got home from our walk I heard the furnace kick in. OOPS!!!Its weird because this place is like a oven in the summer. Once the AC is turned on..its rare it gets shut off till late fall.
Good heavens, don't repeat that to Carl. He would be appalled!Only if I ever tell the story about my guys once bragging up these sandwiches they ate in Baghdad. When I asked what was in it, only because they brought me one... one said "I think he called it 'jamal' Gunny"
Which I then told em means Camel!!! Haha..you never seen a bunch of guys turn pastey white in the dead of summer in Iraq!! Lol!! ---priceless
Thanks Crown! 3 days till Easter!Good Morning, Fellow Voyagers!
And like ocean voyagers, we navigate our way back to Christmas.
But we enjoy stopping at ports of call along the way. These are our Milestones.
And we will check the charts for the location of our next ones in just a moment.
First, the ship's log reveals the daily numbers:
Days to the Season: 214
Days to Christmas Day: 256
And our next port of call?
Why it's the one-third channel marker to Christmas Day, and it's now LESS THAN TWO WEEKS AWAY!
Following that, and by just ONE day, we arrive at the 200-day Season Window!
(Don't know about you, but I'm looking forward to these pending ports.)
Our near perfect weather continues. The kind that mentally just drives you outdoors to enjoy nature in all its friendly splendor. Had just a touch of rain late yesterday to settle the pollen a bit, but otherwise it was clear and dry.
This will continue today, and we have commenced it at 61 degrees here in the capital city.
Have a Thrilling Thursday, Folks, secure in the knowledge that it will be Weekend Eve once again tomorrow!
