I too love walking by any body of water. I don't know why but it relaxes me. There's a great park about 20 minutes away with a long lake, love it there. Hope you will enjoy a great Sunday CGYager.

Yeah I totally agree with this. I just joined the forum this year and I believe in my first post I said my goal each year is August 1st. I think that's when Fall is really in the air and that back end of they year towards, Labor Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving and of course Christmas are really in range. 100 days out is pretty exciting!
Doesn't make it seem that far away then either...only 1 week and 3 months to go!

It has been around here for the last month or so.
I remember the roads used to be yellow/greenish tint from it. All over Jaxs and on base everything would get covered with that stuff. Lol..couldnt even have a open drink outside or it was floating on top.

Hello all. Today was a lovely day outside. We mowed the grass and other yard maintenance. We also planned out some landscaping for our backyard. We want to make our patio larger and create a large space for a raised garden. It will take some time to complete, but at least we have a plan.
Tomorrow is a school day, but there is not much school left. Summer is near! The students are ready, and so are we teachers.
For me, once summer starts, I begin to think about Christmas in July!

My weekend went way too quickly, we pretty much hung around home all weekend as a family. JP had a game yesterday and came within inches of scoring his first goal. My Bruins were eliminated today, they had a good series for a young team all 6 games decided by 1 goal, 4 of the 6 in overtime. It will be a long off season, but I must pull for the Pittsburgh Penguins now, they have been my second favorite team since the 80's.
Back to work in the morning of what will be a tough week.

Morning MMC! Happy Last Week of April! Hard to believe that we have 2 major milestones this week and that a week from today we will turn the calendar to MAY. It's going to be mostly cloudy today but right now the sun is peaking through. Should be an ok week at work this week I hope and of course looking forward to another spring weekend. Have a great Monday!
