Merry Monday!
It's going to be mostly cloudy today with highs near 60 degrees. I'm heading out soon, I have a neurologist appointment. Just a follow up to get refills on my migraine meds. Back home afterward, we're having new gutters put on the house later today so I need to be home for that. I guess that's about it for me. I hope everyone is well and has a great day!

A merry Monday back at you HMG. Sorry to hear about your Migraines. My daughter deals with them from time to time and I can't even imagine the effect of light and sounds at those times. New gutters huh? Probably just in time for the rainy season I suppose. Are you going to have the "covers" put on them to keep out the leaves? That is one of the things in my Spring/Summer plans.

Hello and happy Friday!
I hope everyone is doing well.
The school year is starting to wind down now. Only a little over a month to go. This year has flown by really. I have been so busy with teaching, taking classes and dealing with the struggles of teenage child.
I do not have too much to do this weekend. Just relax mostly. My oldest has prom this weekend. And then again next weekend. The girl is is dating does to a different school so they are going to both proms.

I am looking forward to the relaxing weekend. Perhaps I will get around to mowing the grass. Then again, maybe not.

I hope prom went well! Our school had prom Saturday too - FB is flooded with (beautiful) pics!

Good evening, everyone!

I meant to visit this morning. Instead, I became super busy and swamped running around the school. I've basically been at Russell every day since January. If there have been about 90 school days since Christmas break, I have been there 84 of them. It's been a very busy semester.

Right now, the Vice Principal is on extended leave, so the Learning Resource Teacher is acting VP. Because of this, they put me in her job for the past three weeks. Although I have been in the library every day, it never stops. I'm constantly talking to the students about their work, helping the kids that need encouragement to get back on track, etc. You'd think that not having a class and just working in the library would be easy, but it's exhausting. Still, I greatly enjoy it!

I hope you all had a great Friday. I need to return to watching hockey. Have a great evening!

Happy Sunday Morning all. Been a few very busy days since I last signed on. I took last night off from work to help out with the "Party for the Planet" celebration at the Great Plains Zoo here in Sioux Falls. It was a bight sunny day with highs in the upper 60's. Naturally being out in the sun for around 4.5 hours... I got a bit too much sun. Does not hurt (yet anyway) and we all had a good time, especially the children. Another beautiful day in store, so after church, I will try to get some more yard work done (but with a hat on). Monday looks to be a little on the relaxing side with only a few errands to run. Like our Mr. Edge, I really enjoy these three day weekends.
Have a spectacular Sunday everyone and I'll try to not be a stranger in the future...

Good Morning gang and a Marvelous Monday to one and all. This is my third (and last) day off in a row, so I've had a nice chance to get some work done and still find a moment or two for kicking back. Today there are a few stops on the horizon for me to make and then some work getting the yard in shape. Beyond that, I'm not sure. Perhaps some of the DVR recordings with the wife and a bit of rearranging in the office. I did get the Christmas lights down over the garage yesterday (yes, I did say Christmas) and replaced them with some red,white & blue globe lights (with stars inside). It looks nice. But I will have to go up to the roof and disconnect the icicle lights, since the same switch activates both.
Enjoy this final week of April and get ready for May flowers...

Good Monday morning! It was so cold this morning that I wore my tuque and gloves. Dropped the car off early for repairs and now at home relaxing. We want to book our trip today, we're deciding between the Dominican Republic and Jamaica. I'll wait to see the final cost of car repairs before booking. While I was out, Loki found a way to grab a bag of pita breads on the kitchen table and he ate a bit of each one, silly dog. I think he pulled on a bit of the table mat that was at the dge of the table and brought everything down. If there's food, he'll find a way. Hope everyone will enjoy a great start to the week.

Morning Martine. Isn't it always interesting how our vacation plans usually depend on unexpected household (or car) repairs/updates. Connie and I are looking to make it down to Universal Orlando this winter, so she can check out the "Wizarding World of Harry Potter". My current canines do not try to get things outside of their own bowls (or begging), but I once had an Australian Sheppard who managed to get a three pound roast off the counter and devoured the entire thing. You want to get mad sometimes, but how can you ignore their own inner drives?

I too love walking by any body of water. I don't know why but it relaxes me. There's a great park about 20 minutes away with a long lake, love it there. Hope you will enjoy a great Sunday CGYager.

Good morning, everyone!

So close to some milestones. So close, in fact, I can nearly hear the Christmas music... or, perhaps that is still the music playing in my head from visiting Ottawa's year-round Christmas store "Tinseltown" on Saturday. As always, it was a fantastic experience.

I hadn't visited my favourite place since the beginning of December/end of November. Kim and I drove past it a week or so ago and saw that they were having a storewide 60% off sale. What better time to purchase decorations, and maybe a few gifts, for Christmas 2017?!

Other than our regular routine on Saturday, it was a relatively quiet weekend. This week should be enjoyable. I'm back in the library at Russell for the entire week, again. It could be my last week designated to the library, but we'll see.

Well, I hope everyone has a great Monday. It's the final week of April and there are two magical milestones. What more could we ask for?!
