Worked yesterday so today is "off" but i also have a ton of errands to do-so I'm a busy bee buzzing away at those currently! Happy Monday folks!!

It was 47 degrees outside when I left the house this morning. Wednesday's high will be 44 with rain and snow showers. Aaaah, Spring.
Good Monday afternoon, Christmas friends!
I've had a busy, busy Monday morning, so I'm late posting today. Friday afternoon we took Elizabeth to get her driver's license, or so we thought. The DMV is about 30 minutes from here, and we waited 30 minutes for our turn, only to be told that we were supposed to make an appointment first. And they couldn't make the appointment; we would have to call the DMV office in Atlanta to make it. Grrrr.
Later that evening, Elizabeth had dance practice and Jacob had a recital going on at the University. The recital was awesome, although I missed the last half because I had to leave to pickup Elizabeth across town, because the DMV wouldn't test her so she could driver herself! Grrr again.
Elizabeth's group danced at Arts Fest at the University Saturday morning, then our little nephew had a birthday party planned at the local water park. None of his little friends that they invited came to the party!
Poor guy! So we rushed home and setup a quick backyard family party and meal with some balloons, a birthday banner, and some Dollar Store toy gifts. He's just seven, so he had fun, anyway.
Then we had a family reunion Sunday afternoon after church, in a hot gymnasium. I keep saying it, but I was ready to come to work, just to rest!

Greetings Murphman. We are running in the upper 50's to low 70's, so I really don't need either, since the house is so well insulated. Hopefully your weather will climb to where you don't require them for awhile.

Hi there DoYouHear. This is my third day off and I just got back from running my errands. I was going to get some yard work done, but it seems the weatherman was a tad off. The rain was suppose to be tomorrow, not today. Oh well, guess I'll find some inside chores to do. Enjoy your Monday...
It's a beautiful day today in the mid-70's, but it'll be 90's by the end of the week. I envy your cool weather!!
Wow Yuletide. Where do you reside? I thought we had some long winters here in the Dakotas, but even we are sitting above that. Bundle up and stay warm...

Hubby took the convertible to work today! 
So it's almost quitting time here. YAY!!! I'm heading to Moms tonight for a cookout with the family! 
At my uncles funeral meal on Saturday, my cousin passed out a song sheet & everyone had to sing: You Are My Sunshine, The Battle Hymn Republic, Cotton Fields, & Let Me Call You Sweetheart. They must have been my uncles favorites. Anyway, I've been singing Cotton Fields all afternoon - and so I leave you today with this song - so you all can have it stuck in your head all night with me!

Thank you CGYager. I'm sorry to hear that your daughter deals with migraines as well. They can be pretty rough.
I'm still waiting for the workers to show up to install the gutters, not sure if my husband is having the covers put on. It's getting pretty late, I'm thinking they might not be coming anymore today. We'll see.

I hope prom went well! Our school had prom Saturday too - FB is flooded with (beautiful) pics!
Nathan said prom went well. He said the dance itself was a little boring but the venue was great, it was at the Dayton Art Institute. He has prom again this weekend.
Well it is Monday. The weather was really nice again today, but it is getting cloudy.
My wife and I went shopping for raised planters for our garden area, and of course what we saw back in the winter, well, they are no longer available. Walmart carries them, but about $20 more than we saw before. So, we are not sure if we are going to stick with that plan or try something a little different.
