Good morning MMC! Merry Friday Eve!!

After 84º & sunshine yesterday, today we have a predicted high of 67º & it's starting to spit rain! 1st they were calling for rain all morning & now it looks like it's hit or miss! I guess we'll find out! It sure is windy!!! I did break down & turn on the AC in the middle of the night. It was so warm in our house, even with the windows wide open & the attic fan on!

Not much going on today. Just work!

Good Thursday morning! You wouldn't know it from looking at the overcast skies right now but we should get plenty of sun today and reach a high of more than 25°C/77°F. My first day back at work yesterday was quite hectic. And I got calls from two different stores asking for me to give training to new managers. So for the first two weeks of May, I am booked almost each day to give training. I am already dreading getting behind on my own work. Hope everyone is well and will enjoy a great day.

Morning MMC! Happy Friday Eve! Yesterday was a better day at work for sure. Not nearly as hectic. Applebee's was good last night as always. It was a good day overall and hopefully today will be another one. It was drizzling this morning when I went running. I just read the summer predictions and for our area they are predicting a wetter and not as hot summer as last year. I'm ok with that as long as wetter doesn't mean rain every day. But that's just their forecast and who knows if it will turn out that way. Have a great day!

We have definitely learned you can't trust the forecast. LOL Have a great day Edge!

I wish Nancy would let me open the windows at night. Her allergies won't allow it, though. These pecan trees and pine trees are just too much for her.

We looked into shipping to our local store, but... it is not sold online. Not selling an item online is about unheard of these days!
We ended up ordering a different product. It is lower to the ground, but bigger. I think it will work out well though.

Good Morning Holiday. Glad to hear that things went well. I can relate to wanting to get back in the saddle again. I have a real hard time "babying" myself. I know that is not what is really happening and a time for healing is required, but it is the way I grew up and it's hard to stop the feelings now... lol.
The good thing is he knows how many people are in his corner. Have a wonderful Thursday...

Good Thursday morning, Christmas friends!

Success! Elizabeth is now a licensed driver! As soon as we got home, she asked to drive herself to youth night at church...and by asking, I mean she was almost demanding LOL.

Not long after she left, Nancy and I went to the local seafood place to meet her family for dinner. There was a bad wreck in town and we were a little worried for Elizabeth. It wasn't her, but it really was sad. It seems a man with a history of serious diabetic problems "zoned out" while driving, and struck several cars before hitting one head-on, killing one young lady. Bless her heart. And, if it's true that he was ill, I'm sure he feels terrible today. Sending prayers for all of them.

Jacob is singing with The University Singers tomorrow night, something else is happening Saturday (not sure), and he has another recital on Sunday. Run, run, run!

going to be a warm one today, with possible thunderstorms this afternoon.

Busy weekend coming up, but will be fun for two of those days.
Please keep LittleCS in your prayers, she goes for that bone marrow biopsy on Monday.

off to work a bit early as they want us all out of the parking lot soon so they can do spring clean up.

Well, there's a very good reason.
This is the second day of Back-To-Back Milestone Markers!

Days to the Season: 200
Days to Christmas Day: 242

And yes, there is no need for referral to our marker chart. The first count number tells the tale. It is indeed the TWO HUNDRED DAY SEASON WINDOW, and tomorrow will see us start a ONE HUNDREDS LEVEL Season count.
(Wow! Already to the 100's. So hard to believe!)


The nice, DRY weather is back and the leftover water from the last three days worth of precipitation is disappearing fast. The temp was nice and mild yesterday, as well.
Should be another good one today, and we have commenced things here at 66 degrees in the capital city.

I hope you get to see some sun soon!!! We don't have many plans for the weekend either - it's kind of nice! I see some lake time in my future...though it is SUPPOSED to be a pretty rainy weekend.

We normally shut the windows when we go to bed, just for that reason....allergies! Normally our AC is on though from April until we turn on the heat in October!
