Good morning Festive. And Happy First of June to you as well. Much of a weather change in the UK during the first part of this month? South Dakota usually does not warm up all that much until the latter part of June. But, it does make planting new grass and flowers a lot more comfortable work.

Hi there HMG. My best friend from the service also has his birthday today and is now the same age as I am... 63. He lives around three hours drive away in Lincoln, Ne. Good morning MMC! Merry Friday Eve!!! It's an absolutely gorgeous morning!!! LOVE IT! I wish this weather could last forever! Love these warm temps with no humidity!! Although for boating & convertible riding it needs to be a tad bit warmer, so I guess that will be ok too! (Like I have a say so in it...Ha ha!) 
We got a text from our sis this morning that Mom was sick overnight. DARNIT!!! She has been doing too good! I went over to check on her & she looked good - said she felt fine. Emma didn't get much sleep overnight so I bought Gatorade & vitamin water for Mom & a Pepsi for Emma. Hopefully it was a quick bug & she is on the mend. We have family vaca coming up...she CAN'T get sick!!!!
We had a visa card which was a rebate from the tires we bought for our Durango that needed to be used before the end of May. Well of course we forgot about it so yesterday we were scrambling trying to think of something fun we wanted to buy for $70 - We ended up buying a new lighted fountain for our patio. Our old one bit the dust last year. Of course we couldn't find one we liked for $70 so I ended up buying an Amazon gift card to cover the rest of the expense but now I'm excited for it to arrive!
Might have to buy some MORE flowers to plant around it! (don't tell my hubby)

Howdy Martine. We are at 55 currently here in the great North-West. But the sun is shining and I plan on getting a hour or so of yard work under my belt before turning in. Hard to get much done after a mid-shift, but every hour brings me that much closer to completion.

Thanks for the fountain reminder, mine is still under the deck. Got to get it out and set up. maybe get in a few more pavers for the walkway from the back gate to the BBQ area.
