Morning MMC! TGIF! As we head into a June weekend. I hope everyone has had a good week. Even a 4 day work week seems long enough doesn't it? I'm looking forward to the weekend. Should be a good and fun one. Today the weather should be nice as well as Saturday. 2 nice days and then...clouds and rain the next 5 days after that. Still no sign of putting my a.c. up after those couple of real hot days a few weeks ago we've had nothing close to a.c. weather. Rollins woke me up at 4 a.m. and spit up. Of course then I tried to go back to sleep but he decided to just lay in the middle of my bed so that I would have no room. When I tried to nudge him over he would get up go in a circle and push as close against me as possible. I just stayed awake and got up a little earlier. Have a great day!

And since we are now UNDER a week away from the 200-day Christmas Day Milestone, I feel we qualify as being in the "Home Stretch" to that auspicious point.
And then, of course, we will commence a DOUBLE-100'S level count!


Nice and sunny here yesterday with just a slight, non-invasive touch of humidity.
There was plenty of sun and no precipitation whatsoever.
We should be dry once again today and we greet this morning with a temperature reading of 68 degrees under calm skies here in the capital city.

We went to mom's for supper last night, which is always a treat. But she and Nancy got long-winded and I didn't get home till almost 11pm...waaaay past my bed time LOL! And I woke up earlier than usual, so I'm lagging just a little bit. Coffee's brewing, however, so things are looking brighter.

It was after midnight till I got to bed, so I understand!!!

Good morning MMC!! We have another beautiful day on tap!! Looks like tomorrow is now supposed to be a beautiful day as well with rain moving in on Sunday! Fingers crossed the rain on Sunday is LATE at night so we can boat over to listen to our friend sing/play! They have "blessing of the boats" on Sunday where our friend is playing - will be hard to do if it's raining....

Well the garden is progressing - Jim got it all tilled up for the 2nd time last night - we had to put preen 'n green down b/c we had a HUGE thistle problem. Hopefully that will help. We got the black cloth put down so we can plant our peppers/tomatoes, which is what my sis & I are planning to do this afternoon. Then I'll be heading to the lake, hopefully for the WHOLE weekend!!!

Happy Friday! TGIF! I am so happy it is Friday! Not too many plans for the weekend. We have a carnival on our town green so I am taking my youngest daughter with her friend. I just put in for my Christmas time off...12/26-1/1..I will come back on the 2nd. Made me all excited thinking about it!!
