Christmas Countdown - 2017

Good morning ~
Happy Saturday!
It's going to be a nice day. Showers may pass through this morning but it's going to clear up and be sunny with highs around 70 degrees. Not too much going. I just need to do some food shopping this morning. My husband and the girls are all working for a few hours but we'll meet up for dinner. I plan on grilling burgers and baby back ribs for dinner.
I hope everyone is well and has a great day!
 
Happy Saturday MMC! It's going to be a beautiful day here with temps in the low 70s and sunshine but of course it's raining right now lol. Just drizzle but that's the type of spring it's been even on a nice day. I have some errands to do like a normal Saturday and going to take Rollins to the park. Should be a nice day. Had a good week at work but ready to enjoy the weekend. Have a great Saturday my Christmas Peeps!

We are really zeroing on now on Milestone marker number nine, the identity of which will be revealed shortly.
(Not that everyone who is a regular reader doesn't already know by now!)

Days to the Season: 163
Days to Christmas Day: 205

Only FIVE days separates us now from the 200-day Christmas Day Window and the launch of a DOUBLE-100'S level count sequence!
(Does it seem to you that this year is moving by unusually fast?)


Our weather continues dry and sunny with still low humidity offsetting the effect of a temperature rise.
Conditions should continue favorable through the weekend until the predicted arrival of rain on Monday.
We currently record 66 degrees here in Raleigh and the skies are bright and clear.


Have a Sensational Saturday, Everyone.
And I hope and trust your weekend is off to a positive beginning!

Took a trip to AC Moore today. Not a sign of anything but 4th of July deco.

They had some very odd things on the shelves Merry. I never know what to use em for until after I see somebody have them out. Last year I saw these weird flag squares..I kept looking at em and couldnt think of a use. Then I saw them at a few house and you put a candle in em outside. AC Moore drives me crazy...they have absolutely the worst website of any business I know of. They give out coupons like made for 50-55% off a item not on sale. 3/4 of the store is on sale!!! I saw stuff today marked down .05 cents!! So I always use them on stuff they cant mark down...lol (models, airbrush paints,glues etc) Last year they gave me 65% off coupon so I bought a new airbrush compressor with it. I paid 60.00 total and the register girl had to get approval.

Weird! But it sounds like you've figured out how to make it work for you.

We have an A C Moore in town, but I usually wind up at Jo-Ann because it's closer and there's less traffic. I just got a big bunch of yarn there today to finish some unfinished projects, start some new ones, and make some winter hats for charity.

Memorial Day, Flag Day, Fourh of July--- that's the patriotic season for me. Time to wear the patriotic t-shirts and to blast Sousa marches in the car!

Good Sunday morning! It should be a fairly decent day, after the sun finally came out late afternoon yesterday. I'm working again today. We'll be short two managers for this month, so it will be just two of us today and that makes it difficult to cover the whole store. Hope everyone will enjoy a wonderful Sunday.
