Half way till Christmas! To celebrate after Church, I turned on The crunch with the A.C. full blast. Hope everyone has a great week!

Going to a swanky brunch in Boston this morning, a celebration of multiple family birthdays! We've been to this place once before, and it's fabulous.

How was brunch and all the celebrations? +j

I slept so much off and on all weekend making up for lost sleep from the Relay for Life event and woke up at 3:30 a.m. ready to roll. Wonder if anyone would notice if I slipped under my desk later this afternoon for a catnap.
For Leon's Day, I grabbed a listen to the last podcast and it was a great way to celebrate! Stay Jolly!

********** MILESTONE DAY **********

Good Morning, Friends!

Well, we have officially arrived. (And right on schedule, according to our Countdown chart.)
The first HALF of our trip back to Christmas is completed and behind us!

Days to the Season: 140
Days to Christmas Day: 182

And per tradition, we will take a breather for the day before checking on our next marker. A day to get over the shock.
(And that's a good thing, because the next Milestone will be a shocker, alright!)

Nice day here, yesterday. We actually had some sun and not a drop of rain fell all day.
For the record, the remainder of the week is predicted to be nice and I'm really looking forward to it!
We perceive a current temperature reading of 65 degrees here under blessedly clear skies!

Have a Marvelous Monday, Everyone!

Thanks Crown! It's all DOWNHILL from here towards Christmas!

Happy Halfway to Christmas Everyone! Hard to believe that isn't it? I took today off to make a 3 day weekend. Just having an oil change done and going out to brunch. It's a beautiful sunny day here with low humidity. Not much better than that for summertime. Hope everyone has a great day and enjoys their Monday as much as possible!

Good morning ~
Happy Milestone Day! Can't believe we're halfway there. So exciting!!!
It's going to be a nice day, sunny with a high of 78 degrees. I have to run to Staples to pick something up for my youngest. This is the last week of summer classes. She can not wait until they're over so she can enjoy the rest of the summer before the Fall semester begins. I also need to do some food shopping today. Other than that I will be working on my daily chores. That's about it for me.
Hope everyone is well <3

Good Monday morning, Christmas friends!

I missed Leon Day here, doggone it! Well, Happy (late) Leon Day, everybody!!

For any newcomers, LEON Day is the half-way point to Christmas (June 24th or 25th, depending on which date you track), and Leon is Noel spelled backwards.

I cut all our crazy shrubs Saturday, and I'm still driving around with a truckload of trimmings. I have to get a chance to ride out to the farm so I can drop them off.

I'm still reeling from Saturday night, though. Elizabeth had her first date. (I choke every time I think those words.) Apparently, this boy is awesome in the nearby town he lives in, goes to a Christian school where he's a big-time football player, and his family is very prominent and well-respected in that town...but she's my baby, doggone it! I know she'll be 17 in a few months, but still... We drove her to that town, dropped her off at the restaurant with the boy (after giving her the stern "dad" look), then picked her up after they saw a movie. I wish she was still seven, riding on my shoulders! :(

I hope y'all have a great day! :)

The food was amazing, as usual ... most of the party ate as much as they could stuff in! (I could only manage 2 plates, though.) Most everybody went home and took a nap afterward, I think---I know we did! It was great seeing Mr.'s extended family---his mom, his siblings, and the nieces and nephews. We usually only see them all together on Christmas Day.

I'm so eager for July Fourth, my brain read that as "Stay July!"!
I have a battery-operated tabletop flag that "waves" when I press a button. I'm keeping it on my office desk this week.

Aww...how exciting!
Hope you have a great day!

Happy Milestone Day!! Beautiful day outside and so hard to believe that we are at the halfway mark!
Just working for me today and I am going to go to the grocery store later.
Hope you all have a great day!

Happy Halfway to Christmas!!! Well I never got to make my blueberry pie filling over the weekend. Too many other things came up. So I froze the blueberries for now until I can make them, didn't want them to go bad. We wound up going to the movies twice over the weekend. Once with our oldest to see Transformers and then again to see Cars 3 with our youngest. Both were pretty good but at those prices I don't us going back to the movies for a while.

Well have a great Monday !

Its funny you should mention the prices. I just watched a video that explained why movie prices are so high and the history of the movie industry price fixing and running a monopoly until the gov't stepped in. I believe a few self producing actors had a major hand in the downfall..namely Charlie Chaplin and the other 2 big names escape me now.
